Hotels in Bogota with Swimming Pools

Let me start with the positives: As Bogota’s airport is the major hub for domestic flights in Colombia, we spent 4 nights at the Courtyard. It’s very conveniently located in almost a walking distance from the airport and have a good shuttle service. As you can expect from Courtyard by Marriott (I am a platinum member) rooms are nice and the restaurant was good. Stuff were friendly. I would have rated it at 4 stars but… We wanted to get to Zipaquira Salt Cathedral (Catedral de Sal) and asked the receptionist’s help. They communicated with the transportation services they use (GERF) and gave us a quote of 220,000 COP for a minivan. Yet, on the night before travel they have told us the price is actually 379,000 COP. They have admitted they have made a mistake and the manager even suggested to compensate us with dinner for the honest mistake. I showed him the lonely planet book showing an estimated price of up to 160,000 COP for a taxi to Zipaquira which includes 2.5 hours wait at the Salt Cathedral. He mentioned their transportation services (GERF) includes a wait of up to 5 hours which would allow us enough time to visit the Cathedral and enjoy the city. We have accepted the offer and thought it was a real nice gesture from the manager to compensate us. After we have finished the visit to the Cathedral which took us about 2 hours, we have decided that instead of staying at the city we would prefer to go to Monserrat which is just a short detour from the way back to the hotel. We have asked the driver if we can spend the rest of the wait time on Monserrat instead and he acknowledged it. We spent about 2.5 hours to visit Monserrat. When we arrived back in the hotel the driver asked for 535,000 COP claiming the agreed total travel time they have committed was 5 hours, not the wait time as communicated and agreed by us. Given the trip to Zipaquira is about 2 hours each way that obviously doesn’t make sense as it means it allows only 1 hour at the Salt Cathedral and no time at the city. It means they have known we would need to pay much more. We have discussed it with the hotel reception and asked to talk with the manager who was not at the hotel but they were unable to resolve the issue. We have reluctantly paid the difference but felt we were cheated (…and paid almost 3 times a regular taxi service we could have ordered). Must admit the hotel gave us the dinner for free as promised but in 2 weeks of traveling in Colombia using hotels to arrange our transportations it was the only incident we have faced. Bottom line - good hotel but we felt cheated which ruined our experience. Suggest NOT to use their transportation services (GERF - see picture attached) or at a minimum be very specific and put the terms in writing to avoid such bad feelings and experience.

We stayed at the Four Points for roughly 2 weeks. The first week, we were in Bogota for vacation and checked in early around 10am. Rooms were not ready, so we dropped our luggage and went out for the day. Checked back in around 2pm and our room was ready. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom is fantastic. The removable showerhead and water pressure was amazing. This was one of the best bathrooms I've ever stayed in. I loved that the room had openable windows, which meant we didn't have to turn on the AC and was able to get some fresh air. We had breakfast in the hotel - complimentary - about 3-4 times during our stay. It was sufficient and staff were very nice. The hotel is in a really great location. It's about a 7 minute walk to Parque 93, where all the restaurants and shops are. We were able to walk over to have dinner or shop at the Mini So (I LOVE Mini So). We unfortunately caught COVID near the end of our stay and the staff were SUPER helpful and were able to make it work so that we could stay an extra week. We stayed inside the room, only dropped off garbage, and picked up deliveries downstairs (masked of course). The openable , floor to ceiling window really helped us not feel so trapped. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

This hotel and staff were the most kind, courteous, helpful, clean and family oriented - I mean they make you feel like family! I have spent many nights in hotels because of my line of business in real estate and I have NEVER loved a hotel experience like my ten days at this hotel. I never write reviews, good or bad. You cannot go wrong here. Tourists will understand when I say that feeling safe is a must, especially in another country. In the room there was a personalized safe to keep your valuables secure and the staff NEVER enter your room unless directed by guests. The rooms are spotless and fresh smelling, the staff is the hardest working, going beyond with every request - completely and always. This hotel was also the cleanest and best stocked with any amenity needed. My partner and I enjoyed the sanitized saunas, jacuzzis and gym - permitting us to create special long lasting memories! Come to Bogota and stay at this hotel; you will thank me. ＜3 We hope to stay here again, very soon. Good location. Convenience for all destination. The room is bit small. Love the breakfast there, especially the beef or chicken broth.

NH Royal Teleport is easily the best business hotel in Bogota. The staff are helpful, the breakfast perfect, the suites have a large table for meetings and a second bathroom. The mail service is excellent and the rooms clean and the beds comfortable. The only changes I would make would be to place sub zero small refrigerator in every room and a hand unit where there is only a rain head shower.

The hotel service is very professional. All the staff are professional and sincere. They have warm smiles and thoughtful service. All the details are in place. The cleaning staff and drivers are very polite and comfortable. The breakfast is also very good. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the old town, which is very convenient. I generally don't like to make comments, but this hotel makes me unhappy.

I have stayed in a bunch of Ws, and the W Bogota is at the top of the list. In fact, it was one of my best hotel experiences of any brand. The positives: great rooms, incredibly clean, pin-drop quiet (even on a lower floor), and excellent amenities. But more than all of that, the service was spectacular. I have seen great service at other hotels in Colombia, but this was next-level. Staff remembered my name, made helpful suggestions, were exceptionally professional and yet friendly at the same time. They got me a memory foam pillow (I don’t even remember asking for it; maybe it was in my Bonvoy profile). Every aspect showed thought of how to exceed expectations. Negatives: nothing meaningful. I would have to nitpick to find anything bad to say about this experience. The restaurant, Jairo, was awesome. I’ll leave a separate review about that because it was worth it.

It was definitely a great, and very pleasant experience! A very highly recommended hotel for your business stay in Bogota. The check-in process was very smooth, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the food was delicious at the breakfast buffet and at the Asian restaurant

The Hilton Hotel in Bogota is the best Hilton hotel in the world. The staff is truly amazing and everyone treats you like family. I want to give a special thanks to Alejandra, Luisa and Jose in the executive lounge. The food is so delicious and the staff is always attentive to your needs. I would also like to thank Harrison, Jackson, and Camilo for always helping me with my luggage and welcoming me. The front desk is absolutely amazing and I would like to thank Diego, Andrea, Majorle, and Viviana. Karen and Mariana in the office are so kind and helpful always. I wish that I can give the Hilton Bogota 10 stars and thank everyone personally, as they truly make this hotel a memorable experience always. I can't wait for my next trip to Bogota so I can come back to this wonderful hotel !!! :)

The hotel itself is of typical Hilton standard, rooms are immaculately clean, good size, great big comfy beds with good quality linen and fluffy pillows, a fabulous hot shower which after a month of travelling and mostly cold showers was a highlight, you cannot fault the room. The English speaking staff were helpful one of which gave us details of an English speaking Covid testing company which were super efficient. The location however is good with plenty of restaurants nearby, we walked to Chapinero for dinner one evening which was about 45/50 minutes but a good way to take in the city. Uber to the airport, Mount Monserrate and historic town were incredible cheap. A number of things that were just not good enough for a 5* hotel, firstly, and commented on by other travellers, there is no porter service for luggage, this is not something we ever need or use but it was glaringly obvious from the number of staff standing around the entrance watching customers struggling in with their cases that there is no effort or consideration to help which is the oddest thing and not something I have ever seen, even the taxi drivers will help you with your luggage. I do not believe Covid is a justification for this lack of service as their staff touch everything else customers come into contact with. Secondly, I was disappointed to see there was only one serving spoon for both scrambled eggs with ham and plain scrambled eggs which meant the ham had fallen into the vegetarian option for eggs, I established you could order fresh eggs, so I explained that I was vegetarian so just eggs but definitely no ham, I was very annoyed to wait over 25 minutes for eggs to arrive with a bit of ham in, again, this is just not acceptable anywhere let alone a 5* hotel International hotel The spa area was not particularly inviting, and only open early morning or in the evening and the sky bar area show in pictures is not open at all, it is also signposted VIP, so perhaps not open to all visitor anyway, so don't assume you will be able to sit overlooking the city. Just not quite good enough for a 5* hotel but all of this is easily fixed, just needs the Management to implement better staff training.
