Hyatt Place Boise Towne Square

We enjoy the Hyatt brand across their range of property offerings and have been loyally staying at Hyatts for the last 8 years. This one makes us rethink that. The property is very tired. -AC in our original room was out so we had to do a room move. I understand that can happen, but when the room is 80 degrees it shows nobody inspected that room before placing guests. -ac in the second room “worked” however the room never got below 70 degrees on a hot week. -Bathtub did not drain and eventually the drain plugged came off completely - There were old raspberries in the drain of the sink. - Room was otherwise clean but is in dire need of an update. -the trees/bushes are overgrown throughout the property to the point that you cannot walk on the sidewalks without bending over. -complimentary breakfast is simple to overstate it. The engineer who came into our room to attempt a repair on the ac unit was great. Friendly, polite and gave us realistic expectations from the beginning. Housekeeping staff did do stay over service for us every day which was appreciated. Front Of house staff were helpful, I found the lack of uniforms and casual dress odd. I wouldn’t choose this property without some real upgrades. Happy to have a conversation with management!

Staff is rude and inattentive. The facility was filthy with garbage cans overflowing. Our shower had clumps of hairs stuck to the shower wall. I love Hyatt and stay there anytime I can. This hotel did not live up to their standards.

This is always a great place to stay when we visit Boise. Great location, spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds, and superb staff.

Spacious rooms and very quiet hotel.

No towel refill at the pool area. Loud at night we kept hearing doors open, saw in the morning our room was next to a staff only room so all night someone was going in and out

Everything about this hotel was fantastic and the price was right too!

Room was great. Location of hotel was very convenient. Bed was a little too firm for what I am used to, plus the visitors above me were running around.
