Excellent location between central station and city center reachable in 3 minutes on foot. Very good service and courtesy. Good cleaning. Pleasant stay.

Definitely not 4*.. On arrival everything looked immaculate. The bedrooms are not. The breakfast, that several reviewrs have commented on - was very good indeed. All the housekeeping staff we met were great. Not so much the front of house. That depended on who you spoke to. It's ok for a couple of nights as long as the room is what you expect.

Rude service. Room was small and very dirty and outdated. I checked in and immediately (5mins) went back down after seeing the room. Decided not to stay as there are plenty of other options abs was told they had to charge me for one night anyway as I had checked in. Paid it just to get out of there. Would highly recommend skipping this establishment.

Grave room. Terrible air conditioning: 27° in the room upon arrival, after 2 hours it barely dropped, less than one degree. Wi-Fi out of order most of the time. Broken night light socket: it was fixed the next morning, the only plus point besides the location, but the other lights no longer work. Not worth the price paid. Fortunately, there is no shortage of alternatives.

ok hotel in a good area. front desk personnel….. some good some not so much. room ok with terrible view. empty tissue holder, toilet didn’t always flush well. good breakfast buffet but “bacon” under cooked and greasy. wonderful fresh honeycomb. an unexpected treat. usual meats fruit cheese etc. would not return.

The hotel boasts four stars (with prices accordingly), but I think at least one is too many! From a four-star hotel you expect a room much larger than the few square meters available: to sit in front of the table provided you have to move a (heavy) chair placed in the corner and, once seated, you can no longer move (even just to go to the bathroom). Luckily I was alone, with two it would have been unbearable. The furniture is rather dated in its heavy 1950s affectation. The thick gray carpet with black decorations... best forgotten. In the small bathroom: the shower is a sort of waterfall and the jet diverter button is difficult to operate due to limescale, the soap dispenser is at the height of a person's head (tall) and not at hand height like it would be obvious. The worst is the Wi-Fi signal that does not reach the room: when I reported the problem I was told that they were amazed "your room faces the street, it should arrive" ... and nothing changed for the whole five days of the living room. Again: in a four-star hotel you expect a breakfast buffet of a much higher standard than the one offered. Last but not least: in five days not a smile or a kind word at the reception

I stayed in this very central 4-star hotel on the night of April 13th. A heat wave has arrived in Bologna, it's 30 degrees, the rooms are muggy, hot and the centralized air conditioning system isn't turned on. I ask for explanations and they first talk to me about a 'municipal provision', but I have other friends here in Bologna in other hotels, in which the air conditioning works. Then I was told that the 'ownership' would not have authorized the switch on... But in the hall, curiously, it worked. Such a pity.
