We have only stayed one night and did not look out for all the facilities in the hotel. The room and bathroom was good and all that we needed was there. The pillows were a little too hard. Beds were good. Nice breakfast with a lot of veriety. Service was nice and professional.
The hotel is a little of the centre - but easy and nice walk of about 20-25 minutes.

We stayed at this fantastic hotel for 3 nights in April. It is a great base for exploring Bologna and the surrounding areas. Our room on the top floor was very comfortable and well-equipped with a great view of the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice. We also had an evening meal which was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again the next time we're in Bologna! Thanks for a great stay!

It was our first time to Bologna and choosing to stay at the Aemilia Hotel turned out to be a great choice. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well set out. The staff at the hotel were friendly and always willing to help with any questions if needed. The buffet breakfast was one of the best we had in all of Italy with a great selection of both hot and cold fresh produce available every morning. We also ate dinner several times over our five day stay in the Hotel restaurant which also served a great tasting ragu. Aperitivo time was also enjoyable at the hotel with reasonable pricing for drinks. The rooftop bar had great views and it was nice watching the sunset over Bologna with an Aperol spritz in hand. Getting to the train station was easy by taxi or bus which departed a short distance down the street from the hotel. Walking took approximately 25 minutes. It was a pleasant 10 to fifteen minute walk into the center of town. I highly recommend staying at the Aemilia hotel the position of the hotel just outside the city center is in the perfect spot for getting to the train station for day trips and visiting the city center of Bologna. Bologna was a beautiful city and Aemilia Hotel the perfect place to stay. Thanks to all staff for providing us with great service.

Excellent base for visiting this wonderful city. Booking direct with the hotel we received two complimentary drinks upon arrival and a discount in their restaurant, although we didn’t eat there. Booked a panoramic room only and walked into the city every morning for breakfast . This walk takes about 20 minutes at a steady pace. It’s not long before you’re in the porticos. The hotel itself has a nice bar area on the first floor with both inside and outside seating. Also a terrace bar with a spa and loungers on the 6th floor. Ordered a beer via the telephone on the roof terrace and it was brought up with a range of snacks at an extra €3 fee. Worth it for the view . Although we had this view from our room on the floor below. The room was spacious and had a large shower/ bathroom. Mini Bar, Safe etc.Overall really comfortable hotel with some excellent facilities . Really helpful and friendly staff at all times of the day from reception to bar and house services. Would recommend it based on our experience.

The hotel is a 20 min walk from the city center and its a fantastic place to stay during a stay in Bologna. The walk is very charming through the Porticos of Bologna. We stayed at the hotel 5ndays and we had a room on the 6th floor with panoramic view of Bologna sky line and the room was very comfortable and spacious, very clean and modern and with lovely amenities. Also very quiet. The breakfast caters to all tastes. The staff is very efficient, helpfull and friendly and make you feel very welcomed from the moment you check in til the moment you depart. I would stay there next time I am lucky to travel to Bologna and would recommend it to anyone who asks. We booked directly with the hotel and were given ekstra small surprises for our stay.

This is a superb hotel. Quiet, peaceful and with outstanding service. The rooms are excellent. The highlight however is the restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and the whole restaurant team deserve much credit. A perfect place to stay if you are in Bologna.

It was fair stay but strangely the hotel seems to have shortage of staff. No bellboys. One receptionist. Also some lack in cleaning where coffee machine was so dirty and never been cleaned before. Bathroom has hair from previous guest shaving. Bed was comfy and the hotel has guest parking in the basement
