A beautiful hotel with a staff that treats you like family. They are helpful and truly care. The room was well appointed with a lovely terrace. The morning breakfast was full of options from eggs to meats and cheeses to fruits and of course delicious sweets. The room itself is comfortable. The rooftop bar is an added plus with an incredible view. Our server and bartender were fabulous and felt like friends. It's a perfect way to end a day. I loved the whole experience and will always stay there when I am in Bologna.

If you want a central location and a lovely front desk and housekeeping staff, Hotel Metropolitan is wonderful. However, if you want to be able to unpack your clothes, sit in a comfortable chair, and have enough light to put on your make-up, get dressed, and read- maybe try somewhere else.

Highly recommend this hotel! The location is great, in the city center and not a far walk to the train station. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so good, I miss it already. Will definitely come back on our next trip to Bologna

I've been returning annually to the Hotel Metropolitan for over a decade, and it remains a favorite hotel every time! It's perfect location in the city, offers wonderful amenities for business travel, and the rooftop bar has become a favorite spot to enjoy a cocktail at the end of the day or night!

Stayed in this hotel for three nights from Friday to Monday. The central location of the hotel is excellent. It’s also only about 15-20 minute walk away from the railway station where you can catch the monorail to the airport. The room we had was quite small and basic but it was ok for the two of us. Not sure if the ac would work as the remote control was no where to be seen. The bathroom was spacious but there was no conditioner or bodylotion and the shower gel smelt like it was meant for men. So bring your own! The breakfast in the hotel was very good and you were also able to get coffee made with either lactose free milk or soya milk. The roof terrace bar is worth a visit.
