The hotel could not be better located in the centre of Bologna. It is clean, service is professional and friendly. The breakfast offers a lot of variety and one small thing I enjoyed is the smart TV that allows signing in with your own streaming account in a few seconds.

The small hotel is right on the side of the basilica, one block from the main Piazza Maggiore. It's said to be a 12th century palazzo. The lobby is smallish but lovely, with quirky decoration. There's one of those unique Italian elevators that only takes one call at a time so you have to stand and wait until the in-use light goes off and then press the button before anyone else does. There are no instructions and it took a while to figure it out. Each room has a name and a theme. I had a small room but with a large balcony overlooking the church. The walls were painted in a trompe l'oeil style to look three-dimensional. There was ample storage space and plenty of shelf space in the bathroom. I had a shower stall that was slippery and had no grab bar. The breakfast buffet was large and nice and the staff at breakfast was wonderful.

Lovely room and hotel is in a great location. My check-in was fast and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Bonus points for having an elevator, room service, complimentary breakfast, and a mini-bar. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Loved staying at this Hotel. It’s situated in the centre of everything. I caught the Marconi Express from the Airport to the central train station and from there I walked approx for 20 minutes to the main Plaza and the Hotel is located to the side of the Basilica. Check in was friendly and super efficient. My room was ready for me and whilst the single room is small it had everything I needed together with charm and character in abundance. In fact you get that experience in every area of the Hotel. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it with a great selection of local produce. Staff were friendly and professional and made my stay there extra special. Thank you

Excellent quiet location on a side street in the center of town. Updated rooms in location opposite a gothic cathedral. We loved the blackout blinds. Convenient to shops and the impressive archeology museum.
