Location is fantastic and it’s within walking distance to the city centre. If our itinerary is not so tight with the wineries, we would have enjoyed the location and the walking out to restaurants to have a drink and people watch. I would say the security of the accommodation is great. We were 2 girls followed by our male friend a day later and we felt safe with the video camera at the entrance foyer, garage and what not :) instructions was easy to follow on where to park the car and the operations manager will shift the car depending on whether other cars need to go out etc etc. Well thought through of the process and we felt at ease with leaving the car keys with the crew in case other guests need to drive out earlier than us. Room is decent size with a small balcony and the space is sufficient to open two large luggage. The shower area is good size and there is a heater rack where we can place our towels to dry after use. There is also a wardrobe space to hang our coats jackets after we come back. Just need to call out that there is no lift so be prepared to carry your luggage. The crew will help for sure so not a biggie. As this is a airbnb of sort, guests will come together to have breakfast which is nice. We did not see a lot of people when we were there so we felt a lot of privacy. As the tap water is drinkable, there was no bottled water and due to an acquired taste of the water, I prefer to get my own bottled water from the stores. Crew - responsive and nice folks !! We met with a protest on the day we arrived and the road to the airbnb is blocked. We had to park elsewhere and walk to the hotel after circling the area for 45 min trying to find the quickest nearest path to the airbnb with our luggage. Thankfully the crew shared the main road name before the small turn to the airbnb and we were able to park at the nearby lane and walk over.

Very homely but with everything you would expect from a larger hotel. A refreshing change from generic 'business trip' hotels. Would suit well for a weekend break exploring Bordeaus, excellent location but also a refreshing change for work travel. Would absolutely stay again.

We found Maison Odeia to be a good base to sleep and discover Bordeaux. The location on a quiet side street and the very close tram stop are super, also on site parking is very good. We saw our lady host only once for a few minutes when we arrived, she gave us the key and shortly explained the house. The building has been renovated very nicely and also our room was bright and friendly with a large terrace. However there was not a single hook in the room or bathroom to hang a towel or a piece of clothing, no chair in the room and a large bathtub ( in addition to a large shower) taking away a lot of room space. We found the room to be very inconvenient. We were here during the heat wave, a bottle of water in the room would have been a nice. Don´t expect the charm and hospitality of a bed&breakfast, you never see the hosts. The place is always very quiet, almost uncomfortable during breakfast. The 2 young ladies who serve breakfast are friendly, but it´s so quiet they whisper to each other. Some music, flowers here and there, maybe some small goodies for the guests would be nice. We never chit chatted with the owners, no city map or tips where to go or eat. Nobody ever asked if we needed anything. What I really did not like, was that one morning we were served molded strawberries and twice the baguette was so old and dry, it was not edible. This place could be very pleasant if there was more attention to detail and if the owners ran it with more passion.

The house is located on a quiet street, close to most major attractions and the town centre. A good breakfast is provided, which includes eggs, cold meats, cheese, fresh juice (which was amazing! ), and other items. Breakfast is served in the main lounge, which also serves as a place for guests to unwind. The house is located on a quiet street, close to most major attractions and the town centre. I appreciated a lot the silence and the relaxing a**osphere.

The house is magnificent. It combines the charm of an old typycal house with the comfort of modern and stylish equipment. There were 7 of us but the house can accommodate 10 people. It is also the exteriors that we adored. Even though the weather was not very comfortable this summer, we enjoyed the large teraces and the Jacuzi. We will definitely come back because Bordeaux and the region is still worth a few detours and your house is the perfect base for visiting it. Dan Toledano and family
