A lovely little hotel perfectly located. The staff are charming and very helpful and the rooms are very clean and quite quirky. HOWEVER, do not take a room overlooking the interior courtyard. It is NOT a courtyard - it is simply a light well, with two large extractor fans from the next door restaurant running from before 7:30 am to 11:00 pm. Impossible to sleep if you want to have the window open….

This is a delightful boutique hotel just off Place Gambetta on a quiet street with lovely shops and cafés nearby. An excellent location for exploring the elegant city of Bordeaux: it is a short walk to the efficient tram system or to sights such as the Cathedral and Musee des Beaux Arts. Good value for money. Although there is no lounge or dining room, you can take breakfast next door in a café or have it delivered to your room. We had a comfortable room on the 3rd floor with a view towards the chestnut trees on the square. Facilities included bathroom with shower and a separate toilet, wardrobe and fridge/minibar with some complimentary water and coffee. The hotel is run by a husband and wife who were extremely welcoming and helpful, giving good restaurant recommendations and travel advice. It felt friendlier and more relaxed than a big chain.

This is a lovely hotel in an amazing location in central Bordeaux. Walking distance to all you need, but also very close to the tram if so desired. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and always welcome you with a smile. The room was very comfortable and equipped with all that you need. There was a fan in the room which would be needed in the summer. A great place to stay for a city break.

A wonderful 3 day stay at the Hotel Madame. Perfectly located at the edge of the pedestrianised part of the City this charming hotel is everything you need! Check-in was perfect with the lovely Amelia giving us a map with lots of recommendations to eat and see. Our room was beautifully decorated with a Nina Simone theme! Lovely comfy bed and nice shower with one of the best hotel hairdryers I’ve ever used! We would 100% recommend the Hotel Madame and we are looking forward to returning one day soon!

We had a great stay at Hotel Madame, it was in a great location and the rooms were a good size. The beds were very comfortable and staff very friendly! Would definitely stay again :)

Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel Madame, en famille, en décembre. C'est un gros coup de coeur autant pour l'emplacement très central que pour la grande qualité des prestations. L'équipe a été très bienveillante et disponible. Nous avons déjà prévu de revenir au printemps.

Nous sommes arrivées à 11h à Bordeaux et nous avons recu un message en nous disant que la chambre etait prete. Nous n'avons pas payé de early check in comme c'est souvent le cas. L'hotel nous a fait un cadeau. La reception est parfaite, et est ouverte 24h. Très rassurant. Nous avons gouté le vin blanc dans le frigo bar, super et pas cher 9€ la bouteille ! Literie agréable.
