took us a long time to find the entrance to the hotel, in heavy rain. There isn't a formal entrance. Only a side door facing a courtyard. Its origin as a university dormitory explains the unique set up. We didn't know at the time.

It's average, nothing to complain about, but no surprises either. Breakfast is good with plenty of hot food. Service is good. Away from the city, off Highway 1, easy to find.

The room is spacious, clean and hygienic, with a comfortable mattress. The location is easy to find, the breakfast is rich, and the service staff is friendly. The only shortcoming is that there is a stove and refrigerator, but no cooking utensils and tableware.

The entrance is a little difficult to find but welcome and very quick check-in. The room is very large and so is the bathroom. Rather modern. Nice room to have a drink and the restaurant is in the same location. On the other hand, for the restaurant it is very expensive for what you get on the plate. You can't choose your vegetables and the portions are ridiculous. The meat was very good. Good bedding and a very good breakfast with something savory and sweet. Very quick check out too. A very good stopover hotel even if a little far from Snaefellsnes.

Visiting the Bifrost area, we chose this hotel. It's a beautiful hotel, with a spacious room, a large bathroom, a very affordable price in winter and a perfect welcome. Simple but complete breakfast included in the price. Only the price of the restaurant menu is too expensive and you don't have much choice. I recommend this hotel.

It was alright, but it is like a dorm room and less like a hotel. Supper option was a buffet but very limited for vegetarians, and extremely expensive.

Hotel Bifrost staff was friendly and engaged, their dining and lobby area was clean and comfortable to relax in. The rooms were clean if a little dated, but a large amount of space to unpack if you were staying longer. Very large area for shower which was a pleasant surprise. We were overlooking some nearby homes and there was some traffic noise, but nothing distracting. Did not try the breakfast but looked appetizing.

Great hotel restaurant. Lovely bar. The rooms are nice, but not well designed. The shower got water all over the bathroom. There were no blackout curtains so it was bright all nice- Iceland summer. The window only cracks about an inch and there is no ventilation. It was very odd to be stifling hot in Iceland.

The property is a bit outdated, the bathroom needs an upgrade, however the rooms are large, with mirrors, refrigerator, a small kitchenette. The breakfast was awesome the best we had in Iceland. Dinner was good however as a vegetarian my choices were extremely limited for a price of ISK 8900. We had a stopover for one night and had a comfortable stay.
