As a family, we have stayed at many YHA and really like the hostelling experience. Boscastle is a smaller hostel with a self catering kitchen, shared lounge/dining area. It is at the end of the harbour, so parking is a few minutes away in the cobweb carpark. Even with 3 children, and 5 nights stay, this wasn't an issue. The positive is that that around the hostel is quiet, and there aren't vehicles. The hostel itself was very clean (cleanest I have stayed in). Cath was great, and suggested some great places to walk with the kids. We absolutely loved it here and will be back. Only one thing we would change, would be the mattresses. This is an, obviously, well loved hostel. This means the mattresses have been used often and have a dip in from all the travellers who have slept in them :-)
