I rated a 7 because last year our experience was a 10 -- this year it just was not as good. I felt last year the staff was the best I had ever seen , and I stay at Disney A LOT. This year it was above average and that was it. They did make sure I had a fridge but it froze everything, even on the lowest setting. I had things shipped to me and it was a struggle to get the items. The staff was not as friends. They had a stretch session on Saturday, and the guy doing it was trying to get done as soon as possible there were only 4 of use and it was done in 17 minutes. I love the cookie and treats they brought to us. Last year it was in the room when we arrived on Friday, this year is was later Friday. Then on Saturday when the maid cleaned the room she threw it away. Last year, every night the maid filled my ice bucket and did a turn down. Only did turn down on night this year. Again, comparing to all hotels the Mandarin is above average, but for the price and compared to last year it was no where near the same experience. I do believe it was $75 per night more, which was not appreciated.
