Our room was very quiet. The breakfast at Moooo was delicious. But the best part of our stay was the staff. From the bellman to the reception clerk to the concierge to the restaurant waitstaff, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"My husband and I loved our stay at the XV Beacon. Our room on the 9th floor was very spacious and, since it was on a corner of the building, had two windows both of which opened a few inches to the outside. Even in July we prefer to sleep with the windows open rather than with air conditioning. The hotel was very quiet with minimal street noise. The bathroom had a good amount of hangers for our toiletry bags, convenient plugs, and super-thick towels. One aspect of the room to note: if you prefer not to have your room serviced, there's a switch next to the bathroom to turn, which illuminates a red light outside your room, thus alerting hotel staff you do not wish to be disturbed. There is no card to hang outside your room to communicate that wish. We ate one breakfast in the restaurant, Moo, and enjoyed it. My order of rye toast came out nice and warm, which is unusual in any restaurant. The bacon my husband ordered was delicious, although, if you want it fried crispy, best to ask for that. Shout out to bellman Owen for managing our bags at check-in and to concierge David for pointing us to nice dinner options whilst we were there. All-in-all, the XV Beacon made our visit to Boston super-enjoyable. If we return to the city, we'd definitely choose the XV Beacon as the place to hang our hats."

It seems that American air conditioners don't have outdoor units; the unit is installed right next to the bed, which is a bit noisy. The hallway is long and sunny, so you can dry clothes there. There's a refrigerator, and a supermarket is next door where you can buy drinks and fruit. I booked the hotel through Ctrip, and they even included a breakfast voucher, which can be used to buy $35 worth of food at the bar."

"Having lived in Boston for over a decade, this was my first time returning and staying in a hotel for a business trip. Overall, I really liked this hotel, but it's not for everyone. **Pros** First, the location is excellent, right next to Newbury Street, which means easy access to dining and shopping. The Green Line subway station is also nearby, making it convenient to get to various parts of the city. Second, the room was very clean and relatively new. The design style is modern and minimalist, making for a refreshing stay. **Cons** The most obvious drawback, and a common characteristic of all CitizenM hotels, is that the rooms are incredibly small – very, very tiny. There's barely any space for large luggage. Also, the bed is designed right next to the window. If two people are staying together, I wouldn't recommend it, as you'd have to 'climb over' the other person if you need to get up at night, which can be quite inconvenient. Another downside is that it lacks many basic amenities found in traditional hotels, such as an in-room coffee machine, coffee, electric kettle, slippers, or bathrobes. Even items like an iron aren't available in every room; you have to use them in a common area. If these amenities are important to you, there are many other more comprehensive and comfortable options in the vicinity. In summary, if you're traveling solo, don't need much space, aren't particular about extra amenities, and appreciate a quiet, clean, and conveniently located hotel, then this is a great choice."
