Great locations, excellent service, and nice staffs. I like Fairmont

The hotel is historical. Maybe perhaps it’s old, the hotel key cards did not work at the elevator and the room.

Arrived at the hotel around 2 pm and fortunately the room has ready, however we had a room located far away from the elevator, in fact my room is at the end of the of the hallway 😑 the room is small with old furniture, there was some cracks on the wood panel. There is no fridge and the AC was so noisy. The bathroom is good - I think it has been renovated. With the price we’ve paid I think I just bought the ‘location’ instead of the room as it is a very standard room, considering it is a 5 stars hotel.

Landmark hotel in a fantastic location. The hotel exterior and lobby and restaurant interiors were excellent. The room decor was a let down and the hotel management should consider reviewing and upgrading that to match the hotel .

Very satisfied, the geographical environment is first-class, the hotel facilities are also relatively good, and convenience is the first priority.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the center of Boston. The historic lobby is very beautiful. It is adjacent to Trinity Church, Boston Library, etc., and it is very convenient to travel. The hotel facilities are relatively old, with a sense of age and mystery.

The Copley Plaza is in one of the best locations in the city. I am always happy staying there. The hotel is one of the oldest in Boston and beautiful. It is perfectly located for touring, business, and even shopping trips. And for families visiting colleges - the Copley is perfectly located.

I had been looking forward to staying in this hotel for many years, as it was on my bucket list. However, I'm sorry to say that I was a little disappointed. The lobby and ground floor function rooms are certainly fabulous, and lived up to expectations, but my room was lacklustre. I knew that my room would have no real view, which was totally fine because of what I had opted to pay, but strangely it was decorated in grey when it was intrinsically a dark room that looked on to a lightwell only. This meant, upon entering, that it was gloomy and bleak looking. If it had been painted in cream or gold, etc., then the warmth of the room would have been lifted greatly. The room also seemed tired, with scarred and scratched furniture. There was no fridge, which seemed a bit unusual. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nicely fitted in marble. I was just a bit surprised that the feel overall was not like I expected for a Fairmont. My room experience was more like a mid-range hotel, sorry to say.

The Fairmont brand brings a level of expectations that were exceeded on our recent stay. The hotel radiates history from every corner of the property reminding of a time when a luxury stay was for just the elite. We stayed on the Gold level and our service team was incredible. This is a property more focused on comfort rather than technology and modernization of every single aspect and amenity which was a welcomed break from the norm. We enjoyed a level of care and hospitality that felt closer to home in the south from every person we encountered. Rudy in the lounge is truly a shining gem for the property. An old world charm, reminiscent of the Fairmont San Francisco or some of the notable historic New Orleans French Quarter hotels,will leave us longing for our next visit.

Lobby is beautiful. Staff is great. Access to the club level totally worth it. Special thanks to Kevin. The room itself was disappointing. It was small. There was no dresser. That is a lot of money to live out of a suitcase. Did enjoy watching the fireworks from the roof which was a perk of club level.

There is an article out (Boston Discovery Guide) about how this is one of the best places to see Boston Fireworks on the roof. Well, we did it and got a Gold room and access to the roof from 8 to 11 pm when the fireworks ended. It was expensive, $700/night. The gold room itself was average, but you get access to the lounge, soft drinks, and coffee all day, and they have pre-dinner snacks (veggies, dips, some fried appetizers like egg rolls, drinks you can pay for). The breakfast was delicious (egg bites and salmon were my favorites). The deck where the fireworks were was small, maybe 40 feet long and 10 feet wide. It is standing room only, but I had elders with me, and the staff got them a chair. My feet hurt from standing the whole time. It was nice for my elders, but I don't need to do it again, especially for that price. I think the article was too generous about the venue and I want to set the record straight.
