The Basecamp Boulder is a gem. We had always wanted to stay so this visit to see our son, we stayed for 3 days. The staff is so eager to help in any way they can. They have a darling lobby cafe with espresso coffees ,light snacks, fruit, beer and wine, water. Fire pits and lounging areas outside are super cool. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna everyday. This location cannot be beat. We walked to Pearl St and campus, the Hill. The management team is fabulous. The rooms are comfy with very nice bedding. Love it. We will be back soon!

Basecamp Boulder was the perfect location for walking to Pearl Street, walking to CU's Folsom Field Stadium and visiting the Boulder campus. Rooms are super clean. Reservation and check-in process was quick and easy; should-out to Jon for welcoming us as if dear friends had come to visit. Cozy little bar area with local beer and wine for purchase, warm delicious chocolate chip cookies provided during happy hour and a multi-level deck with fire pits for easy gathering with fellow travelers. This was our second stay at Basecamp Boulder (May 2023 and May 2024) and we can't wait to return.

So the hotel was fine and clean but there was an issue at check in. Our flight arrived late, we gave them notice that we would be arriving late and so they texted late check in instructions for a lock box since the office would be closed. Upon arrival around 11/1130 we tried the key in the lockbox and it didn’t work, it was the wrong key. Totally understand that mistakes happen, but when we called the emergency number the guy on the other end gave us a hard time about calling him so late and was upset because he had to drive 20 minutes to let us into a room. What the? For that reason I’m giving 3 stars.

This little hotel has surprised me with little cute and efficient features such as hot tub, ping pong table, fire pit... I definitely will stay here again on my next trip to Boulder. Melina at the front desk is a very sweet and helpful girl. I appreciate her efforts to make my staying comfortable.

Clean vintage motel, right in the center of Boulder offering lots of services. Outside of the stereotypical hotel networks. Ski bum a**osphere! A find with excellent value for money
