Bowness Bay Suites

A very comfortable clean and spacious suite with a balcony view to the lake. Everything was as described and the owners were helpful and attentive. We will definitely go back.

Is this a ****** hotel? Due to some schedule problems, I could not arrive at the hotel very early, but I drove as fast as possible on the way from Edinburgh. Most importantly, I called the hotel twice in advance, explaining that I would arrive at 11:30 to check in, and the hotel said that he would wait for my arrival. However, when I arrived at 11:30, the landlord came out and scolded us and told us that the reservation had been canceled, and his attitude was very, very bad. There were two middle-aged men in total, their expressions were very fierce, and they treated us with a very bad attitude after the trip. As a young girl, it was difficult not to be afraid when facing such a scene in a foreign country. As the hotel did not inform us of the cancellation in advance, and only on short notice after we arrived, where the humanitarian was, it was hard not to suspect that they were ****** towards us. The last-minute cancellation left me with nowhere to go for a night in Windermere, and I really don't recommend booking this hotel unless you want a scary, ****** experience on your trip.

Lovely welcome from Martin which matched our stay as everything taken care of. Fresh smell, warm, comfortable and clean room with lots of little touches, such as fridge with fresh milk, fan, safe. Great location. Good advise on where to eat - excellent meal at Jintana Thai

This is our 3rd visit at bowness bay suites. It’s a perfect location situated right in the centre of Bowness. The rooms are always very clean and have everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. Owners are so lovely and very helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

Not only the property is quite well located (a five minutes walk away from the pier), but also quiet, cozy, neat and tidy, having lots of shops and restaurants neraby. On top of that, the host treated us like no other one has done it before, making us feel at home.

Wow, so impressed! In an absolutely perfect location, the place is spotless and has a touch of class.. We were met on arrival by Martin who was the perfect host, very friendly and customer focussed. The room was just perfect, a lovely lounge area and a tastefully decorated bedroom, we felt we just wanted to stay in! The view at the back, was of the lake and at the front you look out onto the street, both lovely views. It was like home from home, a brilliant little touch is that fresh milk is provided and topped up every day. Little things like this make all the difference. Martin was there to chat away as we left, an absolute credit to the business. We will definitely be back again. Thank you so much 😁😁 Dale and Kerry.

Very clean & comfortable room, great shower and a good variety of items for a continental breakfast. My suite had two televisions - one in the bedroon and one in the sitting room. Perfect location with a short walk to restaurants and all activities. One small negative: no parking on the premises.
