3 Sterne, mehr gibt's nicht. Dazu liegt zu viel im Argen. Nicht falsch verstehen: Es ist sauber, das Personal ist freundlich und es liegt an einer sehr idyllischen Ecke in Braunschweig. Man kann hier durchaus hin. Auch ein zweites Mal. Ende. Die Zimmer? Nun, wir hatten eine fiese Stufe im Raum. Klar, Altbau bin oder her, sowas darf nicht, da stolpert man nachts. Und das geht auch anders. Statt Kabelkanäle werden Schläuche genutzt, die Bettlampen erinnern mich mit ihrer Farbe an Fliegenfänger, die Nachttische klappern enorm, im Bad gehen nicht alle Lampen, hinter die Bettplatte kann man schauen, ... Unter Boutique habe ich mit was anderes vorgestellt. Trotzdem würde ich wieder kommen.

I was again in this house and it has changed decisively for the better! My room was very clean and cool in the extreme heat on the top floor! The insulation is excellent! The Fuchs Blau restaurant has meanwhile turned down the volume towards Magnikirchplatz for hotel guests... consideration is being given! Didn't have breakfast here this time but it is still beautifully presented and fresh and rich as always! I have booked again for October!

A very cute little hotel, in a half-timbered house that is several hundred years old, in the historic part of Braunschweig. Great renovated rooms, as well as a nice bathroom, everything was very clean and well maintained. Super breakfast, everything your heart desires, with very friendly service. Great value for money! It was a pleasure.

The hotel is not easy to get to due to the many one-way streets in Braunschweig. But the reception is all the friendlier, very helpful, I was allowed to park my not very small motorbike in the inner courtyard, well locked. The rooms are easy to reach via the elevator, are well equipped, clean and big enough. The beds are good, we slept well. We can't judge breakfast - friends had it next door. All in all a recommendable hotel for one or a couple of nights!

Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht und ich kann mich den Vorrednern nicht anschließen. Es war wirklich ruhig. Gelegentlich hat man die Orgel gehört, aber das stört nicht. Schönes altes Haus und kein moderner Hotelklotz. Auch das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Einziger Hinweis, die Fenster waren wirklich etwas milchig.

The inner courtyard of the hotel is equipped for visitors outside in such a way that the guests like to drink their alcohol there with high tables, roofs and warming mushrooms. Of course, this is associated with a noise level. Every evening there was a celebration with different groups. On Saturday night last week the party started with loud music accompaniment in the evening and ended Sunday morning at 2:16 am! This is a no-go! Unfortunately, the restaurant manager hasn't learned anything new since the beginning of October! It would also be wise to remove hair from chairs and carpeting in the room when the guest checks in. A dog was probably a guest here!
