"Amazing location to the jio world convention Center, walking distance. Staff and facilities were amazing was sad I couldn’t use them more. Anand from in-room dining was so attentive to my needs helped me figure out the room when I had questions. Breakfast was absolutely amazing with all staff really taking care of what u want. All in all truly a 5 star experience."

GGuest UserThis place has a 120 years of Legacy banner but actually is the 120 years of bureaucrassy. Had two visits of the technician - first one when the washroom door got locked on its own. On calling they sent support after 15 minutes - upon reminder the receptionist very bluntly stated these take time. The service staff came and said the doors are old and this is normal. Great, so no repair
Next day we find our room supply failed at 550AM. On calling them service staff once again appeared after 15 minutes and while they politely regretted the situation they spent 20 minutes exploring and eventually the boy shouted - sir it's the same LED driver in wardrobe - so once again we find a known issue disturbing our sleep/ stay.
Room service for water refill takes 10 minutes.
It could be that Indians are treated poorly at this iconic place but I have had a better experience in Paharganj than here.
On checkout I was asked my email again when on check-in I had put everything. I was told we might have had technical issues. Each issue is completely small in itself but series of such careless events in a day's stay and the crass attitude of delay only leads me to write this long rant.
So much for the most known name for hotels in India. Avoid - choose the ITC which is much much better and no-nonsense.

Rooms are overall clean however some of the furniture seem to be getting old and carpet in the room has bunch of stains and unpleasant smell which are very off putting.
Impressive views.
Food in the restaurants is okay but cocktail hour food is very much below the class.
Had a lot of billing issues with front office was unfortunate as they had charged me additional amount (which they reversed after I pointed out) but such mishap is not expected from a 5 star hotel.
Overall I would suggest there are multiple Taj chain options in the city which can serve much better service at the same (or even lower) price

GGuest UserI stayed here on 4 Jan 2025. From outside it looked just an ordinary hotel. But when I went in, wow what an amazing hotel. My room was in the new building which is like a 5-star as soon as you enter the lobby. The room was big. Where can you find big rooms in Mumbai!!! But here it was. The interior was class. The reception stass was very helpful. The service boys helped me to take the luggage to the room. They kept my guests luggage as well while we were travelling around in Mumbai. The breakfast space is bit small but the breakfast was very nice. Omlette and dosa was the best. You rarely get a dosa for breakfast in a hotel, but here it was there. The check-in and check-out was easy. There are nice retaturants around the hotel- veg and non veg.
I am very particular when I give 5 star rating to a hotel, but this one is worth a 6 star rating.

YYUHotel facilities are old, and the various switch settings are quite different. The toilet pulls the door and does not move. The curtains and blinds were pulled up and put down for 5 minutes... The restaurant service was garbage. I ordered two dishes with the guests. After 40 minutes, the guests complained that the food was slow, and the waiter did not accept the account, causing the guests to be unhappy. Breakfast is not rich.

GGuest UserBit dated hotel. Location not near any good places but close to the airport.
But design of the hotel is fantastic and great facilities such as Gym, Sauna, Swimming pool, several restaurants.
Great stay if you want to stay near the airport and want to have some fun before your flight.
Would for sure stay here again in the future.

I’m a backpacker from USA & took me a while to find a good hotel in Mumbai, since it was my first time visiting this amazing city. Every hotel had bad reviews or highly expensive.
So I decided to pick this one and hired a taxi service, (which you could do on this website.) The hotel is a drive down south from the airport in Colaba. The location is perfect. It’s down the street from the famous Taj Mahal hotel so how could it get any better. A short walk from all the touristy spots. It’s perfect.
The hotel felt very safe. There’s security that watches over you and the rooms are on the second floor. There’s a front desk and everyone there is kind and helpful.
The room is very clean, no bugs, no dust, good ac, little candies and a perfect shower. Perfect pressure, perfect hot water. They have tea, coffee and unlimited water bottles.
The breakfast is the best part. Don’t skip out on it! They have a lot of options from Indian to western & everything is made with care and love. The breakfast might be the best part :) idk who the chef is but he/she did a wonderful job.
Okay, so no more searching and stressing! Book this hotel, it’s a winner!

GGuest UserConsidering that the property has been hosting guests for the last 40 years, the amenities can still be considered excellent. The location is great, right behind the Taj, and a stone's throw away to the Gateway of India. Excellent location to take a stroll after dinner, which by the way can be had at Colaba Socials or Smoke house Deli, both of which are right next door to the hotel. Hotel staff are laid back and hospitable, and the room service for food and other requirements are also excellent. Loved the food delivered to the room as well.

PPANCHALIf you traveling solo or family then I don't recommend this place. Bathrooms is not hygienic at all. Room is dusty. food is good , view from restaurant is also good but restaurant staff is not professional they will stare at you while eating food. View from room is good. Room amenities not provided.
