Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti in questo hotel. Il centro dista solo 5 minuti a piedi. La camera era pulita e molto bella , ed il personale gentile e disponibile. Ottimo hotel, lo consiglio davvero. Unico consiglio: dovreste mettere nella colazione più prodotti vegan e senza lattosio. Ora una brioche vegan là si trova anche al supermercato. per il resto hotel splendido .

Siamo una coppia con un cane, e fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentiti a casa grazie al personale cortese che ci ha accolto. L’hotel è elegante e sofisticato, non da meno i gestori. La nostra camera era bellissima e confortevole, con tutte le comodità possibili. La colazione viene curata nei minimi dettagli, ottima qualità del cibo…e lo stesso vale per la cena. Una vera esperienza culinaria. Assolutamente consigliato.

Es gibt gute Hotels, es gibt sehr gute Hotels, und es gibt den Elephanten! Die Septembertage bei Königswetter in diesem Jahr bleiben unvergessen. Dank für alle Aufenthalte in den letzten 30 Jahren an dieses außergewöhnliche Hotel und die Familie Heiss! Jeder Besuch war ein Erlebnis, eine Atmosphäre, wie sie nur noch selten gepflegt und zu finden ist, eine Küche, die zu verzaubern versteht (das vielleicht beste Tartar, am Tisch angemacht) , der idyllische Garten mit herrlichem Pool, feiner Umgang und der wohltuende Geschmack der Ausstattung, welches das Ambiente auch mit modernen Elementen so behutsam atmen lässt. Der Wunsch bleibt, immer wieder in dieses Idyll einkehren zu dürfen!

I absolutely LOVED this hotel! It is one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. There is a whole true story about how the hotel got its name. Suffice it to say that an elephant passed through town in the 1500s. The entire hotel is decorated with elephants. We stayed three nights. The staff was terrific and the included breakfast was very good. While my room was a little small, I did love it. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel has a Michelin star restaurant that was absolutely incredible, but I plan to make separate review on that. The location was excellent just a block or two from the main square, a nice grocery store, and lots of ATMs. I would love to come back sometime and stay again. Favorite hotel of this trip so far.

Actually one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Really friendly, helpful and profesional stuff. Rooms are big, clean and with a beautiful garden. The available choices of breakfast could be better, but nothing to complain about.
Highly recomendable stay in a very historic hotel with a incredible story.

It is a very old hotel that was built in 1490, so expect some eccentricities. Door locks are not electronic, but use a key with a large heavy key fob attached and do not fit in your pocket easily. Room numbers are confusing and rooms are difficult to find. Single rooms are very small. Breakfast buffet is very good with many hot and cold choices. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Da tempo volevamo soggiornare in questo storico hotel e la presenza del ristorante gourmet ha determinato la decisione della visita. La struttura è molto affascinante ed il parco al di là della strada incantevole; la nostra camera “comfort”, sita all’interno della struttura principale, piccola, seppur abbastanza graziosa, aveva un bagno angusto e con vasca; abbiamo quindi richiesta una camera con doccia e abbiamo accettato di spostarci nella dependance nel parco, dove il bagno è stato di nostro gradimento, ancorché la camera fosse “squalliduccia”. Nemmeno la vicinanza alla piccola zona benessere ha giovato alla causa, perché il luogo era spoglio e freddo e la sauna praticamente tiepida e inutilizzabile. Atteso che si tratta di un hotel 4 stelle superior credo che anche le camere più semplici dovrebbero essere all’altezza, soprattutto in relazione al loro costo; per esperienza sappiamo che gli standard dell’ospitalità atesina sono molto alti e spesso un garni o un semplice hotel 3 stelle sanno offrire molto di più di quanto da noi sperimentato in questo caso. A risollevare la situazione il ristorante gourmet che ci ha regalato una bellissima esperienza.
