Cute little hotel for a night. We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel having not looked at anything before we booked. We were checked in by a lovely professional man, who was very helpful. We opted to book dinner as it was already getting late, I do wish there’d been menus there to check prices before but this may have been available or if we’d asked. Room was the snug one, very tiny as advertised but nicely decorated with lovely linen and towels (oddly one bath towel and hand towel for a couple). Bed was comfortable and room was warm. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, we had pork belly and sausages and mash, both were lovely. Staff here were all so brilliant, smiley, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also nice, a decent little continental buffet (with lots of jam but no toaster or toast?) and some really nice hot options. Parking was not clearly advertised so we did need to move the car having spent 15 minutes trying to find a spot but that wasn’t really an issue. Overall impressed with the hotel for the price (£94 including breakfast and the meal was reasonable too).
