We must have picked some good machines, but they were good for us to say the least over our 2 night stay. We came away with enough money to pay for other stuff on our vacation. For us, it was the older machines that we had the success on. As far as location, it is out there, and we had the very last room at the end of the hall, so after a day of walking/driving... it was a hike to get to that...but, the positive side was that we had a good view of the lake and sunrise.

We stayed at the hotel, which was perfect for us because it is a non smoking hotel and ******. There happened to be live music during our weekend stay and it was free entertainment. With my wife being vegetarian, the more intimate restaurant out of the 2 offered in property called Sacys had 2 vegan options. Was very very skeptical for the price tag. But after getting the food, I must say after traveling in many different hotels this is the best vegan/ vegetarian food we have ever encountered, as most vegetarian/ vegan food offered are normally deep friend or a salad or a wrap. The food offered at this venue was deserving of any foodie, I was so delighted and wanted to tip the cook but the cook said it was made in the back not by him. I love it, hearing that the vegetarian/ vegan option was made separately from regular non-vegetarian/vegan option shows the love and care for this dish.

The only reason we stayed at Bay Mills ****** & Hotel was to see Lake Superior. This hotel is in dire need of a total upgrade which is in progress. I always sanitize my hotel rooms & this one was dirty (see photo). No view of the bay. The outdated popcorn ceiling was cracked with repair lines. The furniture is outdated & poor lighting. The elevator only had floors 3 & 4 listed on the panel even though there were only two floors to the hotel. Cramped parking with minimal handicap spaces. The food was mediocre with a potato soup that looked like mud! Breakfast was passable but the servers were overwhelmed. Watching a cook who did some cooking as well as plating the food had no hair net or hat, the same goes for beards. Needless to say we won’t be back.

We spent one night at Bay Mills ****** and really enjoyed it. The rooms were nice and clean, and a good value. The ****** had a good variety of games. Drinks were free if you are playing, which I have never seen in any other Michigan ******. I would come here again.

The ****** is nice and smoke free. Most of the Staff is friendly. We had some fun there and the food is very good. Not impressed with the rooms at all. They are outdated, beds are not comfortable, pillows are lumpy and we found hair in our bed and on a couple of pillows. I feel they don’t totally change out the bed as the blanket sandwiched in between the top sheet and coverlet has hair on that as well. There was also hair all over the bathroom floor. Not happy about that at all. I hope their new hotel they are building will be better maintained. I’ve stayed here in the past to play on their gorgeous golf course and for snowmobiling. This is the dirtiest I’ve ever seen our room. It’s too bad. They have means to be a 4 star resort and I would give them a two right now.

I stayed here for a friend's event & found a lovely, clean yet spacious hotel with super friendly staff. Hotel rooms were large, well decorated & cleaner. Very modern & appear recently renovated. Noise does travel from hall so not Vegas silent quality but good for MI. Offering 3 ****** / slot machine ares, there's lots for the penny slot gambler to high stake roller. Happy to find two restaurants onsite, large lobby (well decorated for the holidays), lots of free parking & I'm sure great views of the lake when not winter -

We are not gamblers but decided to stay 1 night here on vacation to the UP and found the motel to be very nice and a pretty view of the bay. We ate at the cafe and had an Italian sub and a cup of soup (chicken and rice) both were delicious!

What can I say.....I love this place! Clean rooms , great food and staff is over the top! The property is so clean and the bay view is spectacular! I feel welcomed the moment I arrive. The Bay mills and Brimley community have such nice people and the food there is fantastic! Slots are loose and me and my hubby had a blast! A great get away from the hustle and bustle of Southeast Michigan

It sure has changed. No more buffet or nice restaurant. They only have breakfast and the food is not that good. The rooms were OK in the hotel. They are trying to update the machines in the ******. No more Craps. Haven’t got online betting yet.
