Breakfast is not included, so it is not suitable for bringing children. The location is convenient for buses and subways. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, and you can use a translator to communicate even if you don't speak English. There is plenty of hot water for bathing.

Lovely staff, very clean facilities, great views and value for money. Definitely the best backpackers in the area. The staff were happy to help with all my questions that I had and helping me book trips. The cleaners were always cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms too which was good to see! 10/10 would recommend.

Hello, I'm contacting you because I'm fed up of seeing people who don't pay for their rooms here but who take advantage of the premises. Try to carry out checks often enough because I think it's scandalous for the people who do pay.

It was really a good experience! The staff, especially Emanuele, was great! A beautiful view and the common areas were a good way to socialize. The swimming pool is a good plus! The room and the bathroom weren't the best. The kitchen was good!

The welcome from Cody was spectacular. More attention to detail and kindness I haven’t received in a 5 star hotel. Easy to get there from Roma Street station, take the 385 bus across the road and in 2 stops you’re there or walk 400 or so metres. The Barracks shopping centre is across the road, including Coles. Comfortable beds. Cool environment in summer. Best sleep I’ve had in a very long time. Great spacious areas to relax. Kitchen available. Swimming pool. Incredible city views. Luggage storage. And I repeat the most beautiful warm and friendly people. Totally clean and pest free. All in all highest recommendation.

By far the worst hostel I’ve stayed in along the east coast. Kitchen was absolutely filthy, many of the guests are long term and therefore the fridges and storage in the kitchen was full. Fridges we’re never emptied/ cleaned. Dirty pots/pans everywhere. Room was filthy with hair all over the floor and bugs. One plug socket to charge electronics per room. Mixed gendered bathrooms with disgusting showers that hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. I would completely avoid, I’m sure there are much better places in Brisbane to stay for far less money.

It wasn’t the most social hostel I’ve been to and hardly anyone there is travelling, usually staying for work. The rooms are not very nice, very basic but well air conditioned. The view and pool makes it worth it though, as well as the cafe and boxing classes that are available for $10.
