Lovely, greeted with a smile and checked straight in, the room was nice clean and comfortable, breakfast is basic but I didn’t mind as I only have small breakfasts, my only advice to travellers would be check if the kitchen is open for evening meals during your stay, it wasn’t on my 1st night however there was a great pub just up the road. I will definitely stay here again, I didn’t get the ladies name behind the bar, but a big shout to her she was great.

We had the pleasure of a one night stay at the Queen's Chew Magna and we enjoyed every second. The room was really nice and spacious, tastefully decorated and had every thing we needed. We enjoyed a walk on Sunday morning around Chew Magna lake and then a roast at the Queen's which was also excellent! We will be back. Thanks to Will and all the staff who were very friendly and looked after us.

leuk hotel maar er is geen ontbijt mogelijk . er staat in de omschrijving inclusief intbijt maar dat is er dus niet !!!!!!

We were fortunate to book a table for Sunday lunch today. Without doubt it was the finest Sunday lunch I have ever had and at 65 years old I have had a few. We will certainly be returning when we are in the area again.

We chose this hotel as mid way between family in Bristol, Dundry, Shipham and Preston. Great to walk from the accommodation into the village of Chew Magna. The staff at The Queens were exceptionally helpful, efficient and extremely obliging. Nothing too much trouble - extra milk with our breakfast tray and plenty of fresh towels. Just one little hiccup but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay outstanding. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms which was perfect with the en suite bathroom. If we visited again, we may book the downstairs room that has a separate lounge area.

Just popped in for a drink in the garden. I felt like have a small bite and ordered the Crispy Chilli Squid. It was really delicious, a little bit of heat, mango, coriander and very crispy squid l, I'd certainly have it again. The garden has been upgraded from years ago, lovely

Easter break staying near Chew Magna, found this little gem, recently refurbished and what a place. Food and service was amazing, such a lovely setting tucked away at the back of the village, spent a few hours in the garden eating some lovely food and drinking local ales. Oh and not forgetting is dog friendly. If you’re in the area, go and find it, you won’t be disappointed.

We were staying in and Airbnb in dundry and this place was recommended by our host for sunday lunch. They accommodated our 6 adult and 5 kid party easily and the service was superb. Here's the best bit... I eat out on a Sunday quite regularly and I have to say that was possibly the best Sunday roast I've had.. full stop.
