Majestic Hotels Bristol
"The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet considering it's central location. The room would benefit from a little TLC, the walls could do with a lick of paint as they were rather scuffed and the carpet was a bit tired and worn, but these aren't big issues. Also, the blackout curtain wasn't wide enough to cover the full width of one of the windows so there was a 6-inch gap at one end. The air conditioning was working fine (and quietly), my room was a comfortable temperature despite the heatwave. A couple of suggestions to improve the room - put a socket beside the bed so guests don't have to charge their mobile phone on the other side of the room, and put a mirror above the desk so guests can use the hairdryer at the desk rather than standing in front of the full length mirror and having to put their hairbrushes on the floor. The breakfast was a pretty standard buffet - hot food, pastries, continental cold meat and cheese selection, yoghurt, fruit etc. I think they may also have done some dishes to order but I didn't see a menu on any of the tables. There is also a gym but I didn't go in so can't rate it. The location is excellent - very central and just minutes walk away from many bars, restaurants, the waterside etc."
The Bristol Hotel
"Excellent location, near the restaurants and galleries of central Bristol, 5 minutes walk to Park Street. Friendly and helpful staff."
The Grand Bristol by Sunday
"Centrally located. Beautiful old building, with rather strange modern/industrial trusts in rooms. Regular double room was rather tight on space. Bathroom large and great shower. Bit chilly in the evening, an electric heater was provided but did not work. I discovered later that none of the (10!!) plug sockets in the room worked."
Novotel Bristol Centre
"Good.location with its own underground carpark and shops/pubs t mins walk away, decent sized hotel in quite good clean condition. My room had a knocking noise coming from pipes in the bathroom wall, but they did offer to move me. There is a gym on the 4th floor but my room card wouldn't allow access to it for some reason.."
Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel
"Great location, great value for money considering how lux the facilities were. The concierge was a bit confused at the way Trip.com charged us but they were nice about it, albeit a little slow."
Leonardo Hotel Bristol City
"good luck with your new job"
The Washington

Travelodge Bristol Central Mitchell Lane
"The team here were super friendly and even though I’m a bit of a ditz and managed to lock myself out they sorted me out. Not the first time I’ve stayed here and won’t be the last. My only gripe is that the horizon car parking service they use is awful and the app mostly fails to work every time - but it isn’t specific to here but if you’re parking you might just wanna use the machine to avoid losing your mind."
Holiday Inn Express BRISTOL CITY CENTRE by IHG
"We stay quite often because of the location and the parking arrangement, which is better than most hotels in the city centre. It's an OK hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. A twin room option is usually available which is our preference. The breakfast is hotel-average but no too bad."
Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre
"It appears any complaints raised won’t be solved with any empathy or understanding as booking made through third party appears to absolve Hilton. This is ridiculous as we’re using their facilities regardless how we booked"
Victoria Square Hotel Clifton Village
"Would definitely stay again"
Travelodge Bristol Abbey Wood
"We arrived to the hotel late at night, check in was quick and simple, had a good nights sleep then a great breakfast in the morning. Rooms are basic and missing some necessary storage or shelving."
Delta Hotels by Marriott Bristol City Centre
"Spacious and value for money. Very good location just a couple of mins from the shopping centre."
Future Inn Bristol
"My husband and I stayed for two nights as we were attending my daughter’s wedding. My second daughter and friends also stayed. The location was perfect, the rooms and bed were spacious and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Convenient having a bar on site and great that the kettle was actually by a socket!! 🤣😃I would definitely recommend The Future Inn 😀"
DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre
"Same as before. Will continue to use this hotel. Ideal location."
DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North
"Fantastic hotel convenient for what I needed. What a treat to have a pool - well maintained and while it was popular it never felt crowded and always space in the sauna. Very friendly front of house staff and house keepers. Reasonably priced food and drinks. Kids meals are great too."
Holiday Inn BRISTOL AIRPORT by IHG
"Arrived late in the evening due to a delayed flight but this presented no problem. Check in was quick with efficient and attentive reception staff and a really comfortable room."
Mercure Bristol North the Grange Hotel
"Not overly impressed with this hotel. Although in a beautiful location, the team house keeping team were not organised when we were checking in. Lack of focus on guest first impression! Firstly offered us a poor room with no extra bed in it as per my previous request, toilet was broken and the taps were making a terrible noise when turned on. The house keeping team were not organised and we could hear the front of house manager arguing on the phone right outside our room. Once moved to another room, there were long hairs in the bathroom that had not been cleaned. Real shambles! They need to learn to accommodate for not just business guests but families as well. We won’t be staying there again! Shame as the location and the breakfast was good. Hotel is in bad need of modernising!"
Your Apartment | Clifton Village
"I had a great stay at The Clifton apartment. The place was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, which made it very comfortable throughout my visit. The location is also excellent—convenient and in a really nice area, making it easy to get around and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would happily stay here again."
Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin
"Very valuable and worth it"
Holiday Inn BRISTOL CITY CENTRE by IHG
"I had never stayed in a Holiday Inn before and I was very happy with everything from the service of the staff to the food which was lovely."
Harbour Hotel & Spa Bristol
"best hotel"
Holiday Inn BRISTOL - FILTON by IHG
"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Bristol Filton and were honestly really impressed! The room was super clean and had plenty of space for the two of us to unpack without tripping over each other's bags. The bed was massive with crisp white sheets, so we definitely slept well, and there was a huge TV that was perfect for chilling out after a long day of exploring. I immediately claimed the cute sage-green armchair, but there was also a handy little desk when one of us needed to quickly hop online. The bathroom was completely spotless too—we really loved the fancy marble-effect walls and funky blue tiles in the shower, and having the big bottles of Dove soap right on the wall was such a nice, convenient touch. Overall, it was a bright, modern, and super comfortable base camp for our trip!"
