The hotel is a very old building, somewhat like a B&B, with very old facilities. Old elevators and old room facilities. The rooms are larger, the beds are softer, and they are cleaner! Although the window is small, the bathroom is relatively large with a separate bathtub, shampoo and shower gel! There is a bar downstairs in the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly. Please note that the soundproofing in the hotel rooms is very poor. You can hear all the activities in the next room clearly. The noise in the bar at night is also very bad. Affect rest

Cool building but it’s a bit tired. Carpet is so worn and I had to rinse out the bath as it had not been cleaned properly. Very noisy road and beds are not particularly comfy. Dinner was very good in the restaurant and the bar staff were fantastic.

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location for the Bristol Beacon Hall, only 5 mins walk. When we arrived we were given an upgrade to a deluxe room which was lovely and huge, with a balcony and great bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and good choice of cooked and continental food. Will happily stay again.

Our stay didn't start out well, with a member of staff being rude as we were trying to park to unload, but I mentioned this to Katrina, one of the regular reception staff and she was immediately very apologetic and from then on, made us extremely welcome and made our stay very lovely, so huge thanks to her for being fantastic and truly rescuing it for us!. The room was lovely and the hotel is in a great location for exploring Bristol.

Absolutely brilliant. Lovely deluxe room and the food was amazing. Only very slight thing was that the shower wasn’t as powerful as I remember but it was still pretty decent! Staff were great, very helpful

My husband x l went to this hotel on 28/3/23, with our daughter and her colleagues about 70+ for a function, canapés were lovely, rest of the meal was awful, different people ate at different times, they served hot food cold, chicken chasseur was drum sticks x thighs with skin on and bones, potatoes mash with pepper corns, it looked like artificial mash, cheese’s were stale, needless to say it all got left, drinks were overpriced, would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

What a gem. We were up in Bristol to see Robert Plant so Hotel du Vin was an ideal place, being just a brief walk away from Bristol Beacon.. The hotel is discreet and well presented. Our welcome was professional and warm, which continued throughout our stay. The restaurant offered a delicious menu, both for dinner and breakfast. We felt spoilt at every turn, especially when given an unexpected upgrade to one of the signature suites. Beautiful touches with l'occitaine products and tempting extras available. We look forward to staying again.

Fabulous stay at Hotel Du Vin. Nice room big comfy bed quiet and warm could not fault it. They promote Green Tourism well and everyone benefits from it. Lovely helpful staff especially Jolanta. Would definitely recommend as being one of the top hotels in Bristol.
