LLisaliangThe hotel is a very old building, somewhat like a B&B, with very old facilities. Old elevators and old room facilities. The rooms are larger, the beds are softer, and they are cleaner! Although the window is small, the bathroom is relatively large with a separate bathtub, shampoo and shower gel! There is a bar downstairs in the hotel. The lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly. Please note that the soundproofing in the hotel rooms is very poor. You can hear all the activities in the next room clearly. The noise in the bar at night is also very bad. Affect rest

MMikeJMJonesThis hotel is perfectly positioned for the airport AND it allows free car drop-off, so in many ways is better than going straight to the airport! It is also very good value for an airport hotel. The 24 hour 'honesty' food and drink selection is a nice bonus. It is a shame they don't seem to do room service, as I wasn't in the mood to sit in the restaurant and have a meal after so much traveling and with so much more traveling to do... I wanted to curl up in bed and watch TV with a pizza... instead I had to make do with a wrap and a bag of crisps from the honest-shop. Staff were good. Breakfast was ok, very 'British' and I was surprised that hot food was not served earlier in the morning considering it is an airport hotel (for example, the Stockholm airport hotel starts breakfast at 3am).

GGuest UserPlease be careful of all extra charges when you arrive. No option to park near for free and charges for serving you drinks and food on top of extortionate prices. The gym was 3 cardio machines a rack of light weights and a bench.
Plus points for lovely friendly check in chap and nice note he wrote on key card plus comfortable beds!!!!

BBuzzingtravelerI have to say that I’ve worried in the beginning when I was booking it. Some reviews brought me concerns. However, after I got my room, everything is good enough for the price we paid. I would not say it’s super clean and super nice but it’s good enough for stay. They do daily room cleaning. All the facilities you need are there. Especially the gym and the health centre are amazing. For the price I am paying I would not expect that. The location is perfect. Short walk from the train station and short walk to all the attractions. Makes it easy to in and out. The room I’ve got is also quiet. Overall I would definitely come back again if I ever come to Bristol. This is a highlight of our trip.

Room very clean and tidy.
However we arrived for breakfast which was included and why we booked this hotel to find that the chef had called in sick so there was only a basic continental breakfast . The staff were unhelpful and slow at breakfast . My husband had an orange for breakfast and I had a piece of toast !! Not what we paid for .

I had booked via the Trip App and paid for a double room for 2 people with breakfast- at checkout a very rude receptionist demanded I pay £29 for two breakfasts and would not accept I’d already in effect paid for breakfast when booking. I showed her the booking confirmation which clearly stated the deal included breakfast - she still asked for payment. I demanded to see the Manager who still was reticent to accept that breakfast had already been paid for…..
Unacceptable.
As a result we were late for a family funeral

GGuest UserWe had the loveliest time here the staff were so lovely and friendly. It was about a 30 minute walk into town and if you are travelling into town at rush hour walking is the best way as the traffic was pretty bad.
The room we stayed in was beautiful and clean and tidy and we were blown away by the service from the staff it really was lovely infact I was shocked to find they were part of a group and not independent as it felt the kind of service you would get from an independent. The bar and restaurants were lovely and the building was so beautiful inside and out we had a really lovely stay toiletries were provided and they smelt beautiful. thanks so much we had a lovely time.
