Bristol Hotels with Bars

Arriving very late after midnight.the reception is open 24/7.stuff is very helpfull the room is spacious bed is really big quiet and confortable.the bathroom is very nice good shower.asked for a wake up call ,just in time.the breakfast is good with enough varieties.I would like to thank Sena especially for her help . On the other habd the airport is under construction,very unpleasant to walk to the hotel late after midnight,especially being a solo woaen.the airport management should keep the area with more lights and care! Its even unpleasant during day light!!

Our son was chosen to play the champion cup in Llanelli on the weekend. So we had to come from Paris and looked for the best possible to come for the day. We decided to fly to Bristol and rented a car to Llanelli. Very Late arrival at the reception, a guy was very friendly to welcome us. The room was very clean and big, the bed was very comfortable. There were shampoo, conditioner, body soap, coffee,tea and biscuits to welcome us. It’s too good to use only for just sleeping. Car park is £15 a night and there is breakfast if you pay. Please double check if you drive from the Bristol airport using Navi, it might take you completely opposite direction for 4mils near “the Inn”.

The hotel is close to the station so it’s convenient to explode the city and also visit Bath Spa. Views are marvellous and there are many amazing restaurants or coffee shops surrounded. Price is reasonable and the room is clean.

I highly highly recommended this hotel we tried this one for the first time instead of where we'd usually stay due to difference in price but wow we were shocked, hotel staff especially the guy who checked us in was so nice and professional and friendly, the room is very spacious and comfortable bed, Aircon is amazing especially with this heat, up on 9th floor, there's shops within walking distance also if need of snacks or drink late at night. We would stay here every time we come Bristol now love this place nothing to say that was bad as there was not anything bad! 5 stars perfection Thank you so much!

Overall, Novotel Bristol Centre is a classic-style hotel that is clean and offers all the basic amenities you need. The location is excellent, and it takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the train station. They also serve a classic full English breakfast in the morning. Great choice for a practical and convenient stay.

All the room windows were nailed shut, making the room stuffy. The only way to ventilate was with the air conditioning, but unfortunately, the AC in my room was broken. I went to the front desk to report it and asked to change rooms, but the front desk agent (a Caucasian man) said no! He said I could only switch rooms if an engineer confirmed it was broken. I asked when an engineer would come, and he said at night! After much persuasion, he finally agreed to have it checked before 6 PM. In the end, I didn't change rooms because the AC started working a little bit again a few hours later! But the room was still stuffy and smelled bad!

Positives: Really cozy guesthouse in a perfect central location in St Nicolas Market. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, and easy access by walking or public transit to all locations. Beds were very comfy, it was hard to get out of them in the morning 😆. Room was clean, and coffee, tea and biscuits provided as well as toiletry essentials. It also had some hostel vibes with boardgames and books to pick up and read. Negatives: Wifi in our room was terrible, so I needed to do work in the dining area (but there are lots of tables and it's quiet). It was fairly quiet, but you can sometimes hear neighbours through the walls or rowdy students at the pubs if you leave the window open. Would also appreciate vegan options for breakfast 👀 if possible. Overall very good value and would come stay again!

We stayed here as a group of four in two separate rooms. We chose the hotel partly because of its rustic style, but after this stay we realised that this type of accommodation was not really for us. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with an extremely hot week in the UK, and the biggest issue was the temperature in the rooms. There was no proper cooling, only small fans, and they were not enough at all. One of our rooms became extremely hot during the day, while the other was very uncomfortable at night. Because of the heat, we had to leave the room earlier than planned. There was also no lift, which may be expected in some older UK buildings, but it is still something to keep in mind. Cleanliness was average, but I cannot say it was particularly impressive. Overall, it was not a very comfortable stay for us. The building has character, but the room conditions, especially during hot weather, made the experience difficult. I personally would not choose to stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop from which the University of Bristol, the Bristol Bus and Coach Station, and Temple Meads station are easily accessible. I appreciated the detox water with lemon slices that they offer in the lobby. The room is quite small, and the lights are dim. However, it is comfy enough for a few days in the city. 

Mixed bag... The bad- 1)Check in is only between 4-10pm so be aware. 2)Host (male) was unwelcoming and sarcastic on arrival, after a long journey - unnecessary 😏 3) Room 2- Bed squeaked throughout night with every movement. Thats the worst negative! The good- 1) Room lovely, spacious and clean, including bathroom 2) Good range of Tea/Coffee and biscuits 3) Cost of room good value for money, central location
