Hi there,
The only criticism I have is that when I booked the room, the description said that it had a view of the gorge. I have put two pictures below to show that the room, whilst lovely and had a large balcony, did not really come with a view of the gorge. I was hoping I would be in the room above, which I'm sure has a much better view. So the description was misleading unfortunately.

The Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin is in a beautiful location, with impressive views over the Clifton Suspension Bridge and easy access to Clifton Village. The room was comfortable and the hotel has plenty of character, although parts of the stay felt less polished than expected. Unfortunately, the restaurant experience was disappointing, with the food and service falling short of the standard we anticipated. Overall, the location and quirks of the hotel were the highlights of our stay.
