Stayed at end of April before flying from Bristol airport. Also booked a night for return journey. Nice big room, room1. Comfy bed clean towels and kettle and tea and coffee. Room was a touch cold but they had put an extra heater in room which was much appreciated. Clean and tidy bathroom. Had to leave the shower run awhile to get it hot. I had a pleasant meal in the resturant. Steak was cooked perfectly. It was very busy in there but I didnt wait long for food. Wine was lovely and all at a reasonable price. Stayed on return and a night porter was waiting for us with the key to our room. There were no cups or mugs so had to use the water glasses for a cuppa. The shower in the morning didnt get hot but we managed as we were going home anyway. Overall good value place for a pre airport stay!

It didn't help that the tables were sticky and clearly hadn't been cleaned for a while. We ordered confit pork belly and spag bol. There was a very long wait before the food arrived and when it did it wasn't hot. Then we had another 10 minute wait while the waiter went to find the cutlery. The pork belly was truly terrible with overly sweet red cabbage and overcooked and tepid meat. The crackling was impenetrable. My friend chose spag bol because you can't really mess it up but letting it go cold didn't improve it. The food was generally overpriced probably because it is on the way to the airport. Won't be going again.

Poor service, waited forty minutes for breakfast, had to make your own coffee, worst full English breakfast I’ve ever had!! Some of it overcooked and some undercooked!! Sat at table 22 which was sticky and had not been cleaned properly. The place itself is lovely, excellent clean toilets but the food 🤮 Sorry but I’m only saying what we got!

The inn at the Yanleigh has a very nice bar/restaurant area. The food was average but the waiters and bar staff were very nice. The bedroom was very basic and the bathroom dated. Had the worst sleep ever as the bed was very uncomfortable with springs poking out and we were only supplied with one pillow each. The air conditioning unit/ fan outside was so loud all night I didn’t get a wink of sleep. We stayed in room 34 so if you have already booked avoid that area. The other rooms might not be as bad. Would not stay here again after the issues. You could also hear everything upstairs and the next room which interrupted the zero sleep we had.

Went to the Inn this afternoon for lunch with family friends and all 5 of us had an excellent meal. The lamb burger was excellent also the rest of the group said their food was great and value for money. The gammon steak and lasagne is also recommended.

Stayed here from the 15th April until we flew from Bristol on the 16th bar and restaurant were very good went to our rooms 31 and 32 went back to our rooms at around 8 0’clock went to sleep a little later but couldn’t get to sleep that well as the air conditioning units were a little noisy (they always seem to be as been here a few times and have the same issue) but when we did get off to sleep the smoke/fire alarm went off around 1,30am so couldn’t get back to sleep so when we had to get up @around 3,30 am we were all knackered which didn’t help when we got to our holiday destination as we were all tired we use the inn at yanleigh about 3-4 times a year so we may start to look elsewhere in the future not a great experience at all

Visited this pub a couple of times before and had no issues but unfortunately had a pretty disappointing visit yesterday. We quite enjoyed it here before but our last visit has been pretty off-putting. Ordered mains and a drink, had a glass of wine poured into a very cloudy, dirty looking glass. Asked for a new one and the barman was quite defensive and instead tried to convince me it was clean and just not polished. Ended up keeping the murky glass as it felt too much trouble and didn’t want to argue over the bar which is what it started to feel like. Table we sat at was also sticky. Mains came out fine, quality of food is actually very nice. Proceeded to order desserts for which we waited over an hour to arrive. During this time the staff were stood around chatting, making jokes etc amongst themselves. There were tables of staff eating meals during their breaks in front of the bar which is fine in my eyes but is a bit insulting when paying customers have been waiting over an hour to receive their meal. I had to approach the bar to chase for our desserts and was asked to present a receipt, it transpired that the ticket never seemed to make it to the kitchen . I’ve worked in hospitality for years so I understand mistakes happen, however how they are dealt with speaks volumes about an establishment. There was no refund or goodwill gesture for the poor service and overall felt the staff didn’t have great customer experience skills. It seemed some of the younger staff didn’t really take their job seriously and are there for a laugh. I wouldn’t return after this visit.
