The positive - the staff were friendly and helpful at reception, hotel amenities good, location good. The apartment was less than satisfactory. The king bed was 2 separate beds on rollers - the rollers were not secured/braked/set in place so the beds were moving around. After the first night we raised this with the hotel staff and the maintenance solution was to put rubber bath matts under 1 wheel of each bed at opposite corners. This didn't stop the bed from moving around, was an eyesore and very sub par. Other things - the salt and pepper was empty, the shampoo was empty or didn't work. The fridge had exposed wires at the top. The tiled floor was sandy. The shower needs to be regrouted and corked - it is dirty/mouldy. The furniture does not fit the layout for example the coffee table has legs that extend beyond the top and we kept hitting them / also due to largish sofa squashed into space, the fridge opens onto the cupboards, so you can't have them open. Accessing one of those cupboards is very tight. The bathroom sinks stick out too far making it difficult to use the bathroom vanity cupboard if you are on the short side. The aircon wouldn't work in 2 zones at same time - so we either had the bedroom or the living areas with cooling/heating. The restaurant downstairs, Mamasan was friendly when detoured through it to the apartment, however the one early evening we decided to see if we could eat there, the hostess was ice cold. With so many choices and warm welcomes elsewhere we didn't go back.
