Hilltop Inn Broomfield Denver

Upon arrival I was taken by the gardens, the friendly staff and guests. The room made you feel at home, fire place and plush bed. The restaurant and the bar were had a familiar, pub atmosphere. The food was excellent, would recommend the Beef-Wellington. Breakfast is in the adjoining mess area, a cozy spot to recuperate from the night before.

We made a fairly late decision to stay on the outskirts of Denver, somewhere between downtown and the Estes Park entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park. What a great decision. We had a superbly comfortable room with small kitchenette at a very decent price compared to some others we looked at. The welcome was friendly and engaging from reception and the owner. We took the RTD into Denver, the local Broomfield stop being a pleasant 10-15 minute walk away.

We specifically booked on *********** as we always do for hotels. The main criteria was breakfast included as we were visiting friends and didn’t want to waste time going to breakfast. The *********** website took us to this Inn—and trip advisor said breakfast included as did ***********. The notebook in our room also said breakfast served daily —- When we asked the first night about breakfast, we were told breakfast was no longer available —nor was bottled water which it also said was available. Had we known, as Marriott owners, we would gladly have stayed elsewhere. Further, the person who called us-Tracy, was rude and defensive and would. It even listen to us. Really a shame -as a cute little Inn.

We enjoyed staying this Inn. It was so charming, quant & clean. We were only there for one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was so spacious with everything we needed including a fireplace. Such a nice departure from the "big name hotels along the highway". We were visiting our son who lives in the area and it was perfect for us to visit with him in our room and in the courtyard! Next time we hope to stay longer and eat in the pub!

Beautiful room, excellent food, friendly, professional and responsive staff. Super! Great place to stay on the Front Range. Don’t miss it! Not far from Denver International Airport and close to great hiking and biking trails, parks and scenic views.

When you are within crawling distance from a quaint British style pub and good food, it sure beats run of the mill chain hotels! You get a huge room, ours had a fireplace, comfortable beds and small kitchenette and desk. What more could you want?

We read the reviews before we booked and they were very good. However, from the moment we arrived, we were disappointed. Firstly, the lack of a coffee table, additional pillows and the cheap toiletries. We were on the ground floor and heard every noise in the room above. The lack of noise insulation meant that it we did not sleep well. The room was dreary and tired. The lack of staff at the Front Desk, meant it was difficult to receive any service, when required. The breakfast was awful! Tasteless croissants, and no hot food. Again, we were disappointed because we were expecting more. We understand that they were finding it difficult to find staff, but that is no excise for providing a better quality of breakfast. Either that, or provide a discounted rate. The location of the hotel is good, right of the highway and there is a Starbucks at the end of the road. We also chose this hotel because of the food pub on site. They claim that the fish and chips are made from an award winning recipe. I’m not sure who and when gave the award, as the fish and chips was awful! The chips were soggy and had been re-cooked. The fish was small and the batter was thick and not tasty. We ordered a wine and on the first night, we received a good measure. The second night they have us a much smaller amount. It was not until we brought this to the waitresses attention, that it was topped up. We did not return to the pub again. Overall, we would not stay here again. There are newer hotels in the area to choose from.
