"The checkout process between Ctrip and the hotel was confusing. Both parties asked the guest to deduct the money directly, and there was no reconciliation process. It was not until a month later that the credit card was credited and I carefully checked the credit card bill and found the duplicate charges. If I didn't check it myself, I would never find it! Moreover, after giving feedback, they kept dragging their feet and refused to refund the money. They said that the hotel manager was on vacation and they had to wait until both parties settled the bill before they could refund the duplicated accommodation fee. If the manager didn't come back, they would keep dragging their feet and transferring all the risks to the consumer... Ctrip's payment terms were also very harsh. The full amount had to be paid in advance and could not be cancelled. I was deducted more than 2,000 US dollars! Be careful when booking overseas hotels on Ctrip!!!"
