We had 2 rooms. They advertise A/C in both however only 1 had a working A/C. They gave us a fan and told us to open a window. Bugs came in so it was even more miserable. The room with AC was pleasant but it would be a gable to stay here not knowing if you will have A/C. They could have changed out room, fixed the A/C, gotten a room A/C, but they did none of those things. I wrote to the GM and asked what he wanted to do to make this up to me and 5 days later I still have not heard from him. If you want to risk being hot and not sleeping well then the location is great, the front desk staff is wonderful and the dinning is amazing. But isn't a night's sleep the absolute basic at a 5 star Relais & Châteaux hotel? Wouldn't you expect the GM to reply in a timely manner? I am disapointed in them and I am sorry to have to write this review like this.
