Worst accommodation stay I have ever had! We checked in on Friday afternoon and when going to shower there was no water pressure at all. Contacted the property and they said they would have maintenue look at it. This didn’t happen until Saturday morning, however he was unable to fix it and said a technician needed to be called. Technician never came and the property said they would not be able to have someone look at it until Monday. Expecting us to go 3 days without a shower! Something we could not accept and checked out immediately. Elevator light not working, so in the elevator in total darkness, tv not working, broken furniture in the terrace. We then read other reviews about the property posted months ago, complaining about the same issues. Therefore it is evident the property really does not care about its guests satisfaction and is just happy to falsely advertise and take guests money with no efforts to fix the multiple issues of their apartments. A really disappointing experience and I will never stay with Smartflats again. It is a real pity as the apartments are in a great location, however management just don’t invest in maintaining their properties and really don’t care on the product they actually provide. If you are looking for comfortable accommodation, I would recommend to look elsewhere.

Apartment was in poor condition, sofa in lounge was visibly broken and light in one of the bedrooms was hanging by 2 wires instead of 3, bulbs in lounge were flickering and there was old food in the sink. On the plus side it was very well heated and in a good location although outside door was always open so you didn't need to use the code but anybody could enter.

El lugar es bonito, céntrico y descansamos muy bien. El único detalle que tuvimos es que no funcionaba el elevador y subir maletas muy pesadas si estuvo complicado. Pero por el lugar excelente!

The unit is huge. however, the alarm kept beeping during the whole night. When we checked in, the unit is not ready yet. It took additional time to wait the janitor to clean the room.

Great location, but poor quality. Given wrong key code to enter flat. The sofa bed is broken so we don’t have enough beds - answer was put the mattress on the floor. Leaking bathroom tap. Missing smoke detector. Curtains don’t fit the window. Pictures added to show quality/damage.

Where do I start... We arrived at 4pm as arranged to Postiers apartment. The keypad failed to activate. I contacted Smartflats who were very unhelpful and kept giving me the wrong codes. Eventually, after standing in the pouring rain we got in. The apartment was disgusting, not cleaned, feces left in the toilet, dirty towels over the floor, food all over the tables... dirty dishes everywhere and no running water. Contacted Smartflats again who relocated us to Smartflats Royal 101. This was a 30 minute walk out of the centre of Brussels and smaller with one less bathroom. This was not appropriate as I have a back injury and needed to be Central but this was the only option Smartflats would give us so we had to accept, reluctantly. Again, we couldn't access the apartment due to Smartflats giving me the wrong codes. After another 20 minutes stood in the rain, I worked out the code myself. Once inside, the apartment had been cleaned but the bedding and pillows were stained and disgusting. DO NOT BOOK WITH SMARTFLATS!!!

The place was a disaster. Nothing to do with the pictures shown on the website. Dirty. Very old. The building falling apart. I feel totally robbed. I had to leave 2 night before my regular check out time. The first time EVER that ********** has been a total deception.
