The design is cool while the room is really small. The 16sqm room feels like 10sqm. The breakfast buffet is quite limited.

The location is on the main road connecting the National Assembly and the Royal Palace, and there are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, but when walking to and from Central Station or the Grand Place in the evening, the area around the hotel is a bit deserted. Still, I was satisfied because the hotel was large, relatively new, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, but the rooms are not spacious like most of Europe.

There are pros and cons to staying in Motel One!
Pros - Price is very competitive.
Lovely vibrant bar area within the hotel.
Great staff in all areas of the hotel (courteous and helpful).
Very clean throughout hotel and bedroom.
Breakfast was good (no hot food but a decent cold buffet).
Also no requirement of a large deposit when checking in.
Cons - bedroom very small - can't open the window unless you move the table and no bedside table (but then price is low so....).
It's a decent enough walk to Grand Place, shops etc (but then the price is low so....)
Would I stay here again instead of my usual hotel just off the Grand Place - most probably!

We stayed at this hotel for one night.
The place is beautiful, clean and pleasant.

Construction site noise at 7 am without stopping until check out at 10 am. No one assigns a room (#250) to a guest without warning that it will be awake by the construction site below the window. Hotel was not full and it was bad check in. No excuses from reception when checking out after reporting. Not again!
