Nice hotel for weekday business but not for weekend visitors. Not only was the area deserted Sat
and Sunday the Hotel's restaurant was closed on Sunday night. Most eateries in the area are only open Mon to Friday.

We had a great stay at the Stanhope. Everything about the hotel felt high end from the moment you arrived. Set in a lovely building, the reception area was very welcoming and the staff upon check in were great, very friendly and personable. In fact, every member of staff we interacted with went out of their way to accommodate your needs. As it was birthday we were given a room upgrade with chocolates in, which was a nice touch. We had a lovely, high ceiling room with big windows, the lounge and bedroom of which was furnished with high end feeling furniture. We had a large bed which was super comfortable. Although not bad by any stretch, the large bathroom did not live up to the same standard as the rest of the room. The location is a little out of the main area of Brussels, more near the European parliament which meant it was quiet of a weekend, but that was no issue for us. A 20 minute walk to the Grand Palace. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on this; there are a few areas for brunch and bakeries within walking distance. We really enjoyed the Stanhope and hope to return some day.

We had a pleasant stay at the Stanhope thanks to the welcome and the comfort of the room, not to mention the communication by email with Mr. Hill regarding our rental preferences. The breakfast served in a magnificent room with a British a**osphere met our expectations. It is without hesitation that we will return there during our next weekends.

Really gorgeous room with quirky features throughout. Breakfast buffet was great with plenty of other options available to order. Hotel itself was beautiful and full of character. Would recommend. Maybe a 20 min walk to grand place. Was staying for work in the museum district so it was very suitable.

The welcome at reception was very pleasant and efficient. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite. It was very spacious, with a view overlooking the garden and very clean. No outside noise, we had a great night! Breakfast was at the same level as the rest of the services, impeccable! I will return to the Stanhope as soon as I can, very good address in a pleasant area.
