The service and behavior of the staff is very poor.

The room was very hot and not ventilated, and the front desk's attitude was arrogant and suspected of racial discrimination. It was not safe for girls to live in this kind of place because the front desk would deliberately arrange for one girl and three boys to live in a quadruple room without any consideration for other people's feelings.

We came to Brussels for two nights. We booked a single room, number 503, in the Brxxl5 hotel. From the first night we were literally devoured by bedbugs. In the morning we were even able to “cross paths” with them because they were so huge (see photo). We informed the staff, in particular a certain Ana at reception for whom it was obviously not her problem because I quote "she does not take care of the cleaning but of the arrival of customers" so the customer service stops there, simply to cash in. After being accused by the latter of having brought in bedbugs, they guaranteed us a full refund. Which obviously wasn't done and now they no longer respond to emails. Apart from that, no hot water, smell of urine in the corridors. In short, we spent our 2 weekend days managing the problem between pharmacy, finding a new hotel, new clothes etc... Run away!!!

I stayed in this hostel during my interrail, overall it's not bad for a trip like mine, but I wouldn't stay there more than a night or two. the beds are not equipped with sockets, shelves or lights, they are very normal bunk beds and the places under the beds to keep the suitcases are very inconvenient as the door cannot stand on its own so to keep them open everything must be done with one hand . It has a good location being a 10 minute walk from the station and the points of interest are also easily reachable on foot. the environment was very clean but I wouldn't call it welcoming, the staff was still friendly.

Where to start, Reception ok but hygiene leaves something to be desired. Smell of fragrant Cantonese rice from her sock in the room. Shabby bathroom, the shower curtain was moldy. Hair on the beds to sleep better, to contribute to softness. Panoramic view of the waste from the inn, very dirty. The bathroom comparable to a sauna. There would be more than bedbugs missing, luckily they were in the next room.

Not coming back. Super dirty. There were hair everywhere and it’s not recommended to walk barefoot in your own room, because it’s to dirty. T Also, it didn’t have a blind. The bathroom is disgusting, everything is broken and the sink and shower are clogged. If you want stay in the shared room, maybe would worth it for the prices. But the private room it’s to disgusting for the price.

Terrible experience in this hostel; really bad customer service and receptionist with bad attitude, not willing to help at all! I had a bad experience and asked for refund after cancelation and were not willing to help, even after booking sent them multiple messages. Not helpful at all if you are traveling by yourself, not customer centric. Do not recommend!
