We stayed for one night b&b taking advantage of the tasting menu offer. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the pub had a real local feel and great atmosphere. The food was great and the five course menu was really six (if you include “snacks” which turned out to be a well laden deli board of salamis, ham, bread, cheese, olives for starters. Each of the other courses were generous portions (especially for a tasting menu), good quality and all really well presented. The room we stayed in was small but comfortable and clean with modern TV, tea, coffee, bottled water. The cooked breakfast the following morning rounded off a really pleasant overnight stay.

We go here on special occasions and today was as fabulous as ever. Food and service was superb. I don’t understand bad reviews. We always receive a warm welcome and today was particularly special as we were celebrating the forthcoming wedding of my cousin and her fiancé. Thank you to the Lethbridge family. We always try to stay here when we are in the area as it is always so relaxing. The hotel facilities improve constantly whilst the quality of service remains high. Attention to detail is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Food and drink are good value and accommodation prices are very competitive. We always book directly with the hotel for best value.
