Booked a double bed room for a special occasion several weeks in advance, made it known in the booking notes that it was for a special occasion. Upon arrival was told the room would be with 2 single beds and asked if this would be a problem, to which I said yes as I had booked this room specifically. The staff member found a solution within a few minutes, and found a room with a double bed but it was a pretty poor first impression. Also paid extra for a balcony, the photos on the website where I booked showed a balcony with 2 seats on it, no other description or measurements of the balcony were given. The photos were a deciding factor in me paying extra for the balcony room. When I got to my room, it was a tiny walkout balcony that you could just about squeeze 2 people onto. I felt deceived and wished I didn't spend the extra money for the balcony. The hotel has a very good location in the city centre. Breakfast staff were very welcoming and friendly, breakfast was nice. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to people I know, if they asked and if I were to stay in bucharest again, I would look to stay elsewhere next time.
