Hotel kept our booking despite late arrival thanks to help from Trip.com customer service. Love the hotel in general. Location is close to Old Town about 10 min walk. Morning receptionist a little bit cold. Food very good!

Hotel is small but nice. Breakfast was good, also adapted for vegetarians. Bus stop very close.

So, I just had the displeasure of staying at Hotel Venezia (more like Hotel Hot Mess), and let me tell you, it was a disaster from start to finish. First off, the front desk crew was too busy chatting away to notice guests standing right in front of them. It's like, hello? I'm paying to stay here, not to be ignored. Housekeeping was a joke. My room looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in a century, and the towels were probably older than the building itself. Trash? They must have thought I was collecting it as a hobby because they left it all behind. Don't even get me started on the so-called restaurant. The staff acted like I was asking for the moon when I wanted a simple menu suggestion. And good luck getting a meal that doesn't taste like it's been microwaved a dozen times. Communication between the staff was a hot mess too. I felt like I stumbled into a sitcom with everyone talking over each other. No wonder nothing got done right. Hotel Venezia might look fancy on the outside, but it's all a facade. Save your sanity (and money) and book somewhere else. This place is a train wreck of unprofessionalism, and I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.

I am a Greek who came to Romania for the first time. I visited Bucharest from April 18 to April 21, 2024 and stayed at the Venezia Zeus Hotel. The hotel is well centrally located, with great breakfast, clean rooms and reasonable prices. What pleased me the most was the warm, helpful and very warm staff (especially Andrei at the reception). They helped me with any questions I had and made my stay easier and more enjoyable. I was satisfied with the Bucharest and at some point I will visit it again. As a Greek, I have always had a positive opinion of Romania, due to the special friendship between the two countries, and my Romanian friends confirmed this to me in the best way. Many thanks from Greece guys. Be well!

Very noisy already from 8am when the cleaning staff shouted and screamed in the corridor.

On booking they rate it as 4 stars but that's absolutely not true! In fact they were canceled at the entrance, and rightly so! We booked the suite since there were 3 of us but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, the pillow provided had no cover and had turned yellow from dust! In the double bed there was a very small duvet and it wasn't enough for two of us, we had to request a third. We were only given two sets of towels even though there were 3 of us! The cleanliness of the room may have been acceptable but the bathroom was in bad shape. Handle that was loose, hairdryer held together with duct tape, finishes in poor condition. We had a tub without curtains and when we took a shower everything flooded. We didn't use the safe, there was no instruction! The breakfast is poor and although we reported a gluten intolerant person only on the first day they gave gluten-free bread! The other days we made do! The staff are friendly but absolutely don't know what they are doing! I'm sorry but I wouldn't go back even for free!

I was fooled by the photos and reviews, evidently what they define as a suite i.e. a hovel. Forced to book that type of room as it is the only option with a double bed and it would not have mattered at all about the fact that it directly overlooks the inside of a building and therefore the feeling of being secluded but about the fact that it is a dated structure, poor cleanliness and zero comfort. Essential elements for a four-star hotel room (suite). Breakfast needs to be reviewed, too salty and little variety of desserts. The location is not exactly central.

The stuff was very friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. We were in March and it was warm in the room, I would even say hot but for us it wasn't a problem as we just opened the balcony for fresh air. Breakfast was very delicious and had enough to select from and the breakfast area has a nice celling with Venetian painting. It was very convenient that they allowed us to leave our luggage till the end of the day at the hotel after check out.
