This hotel should really be so much better. It is in a good location within the city centre, being an easy walk from the hotel to the main attractions. It is also close to the metro and bus services. The rooms are decent for a short stay, bathrooms could be a bit better, but there is nothing that is going to cause you issues. However, its customer service is simply poor. We arrived later at night. we did e mail the hotel beforehand to inform them, and they replied that we could check in at any time and they would look forward to seeing us at our check-in time. When we got there we were informed that they were running a Computer upgrade and could not check us in, now if this had been a short delay fair enough but no 2 hours later which by now was the early hours of the morning we were still waiting. They stated they knew we were due to check in but could not do it manually. The whole thing was a joke. We were informed that the manager would contact us in the morning to offer us compensation for what the receptionist admitted was poor service. We are still waiting for the manager or anyone to contact us. We did twice attend at reception to ask to speak to the manger, but on both occasions, we're told she was not available, and no one was authorised to deal with our situation. Simple put Rotten Customer Service. So be warned this is a hotel chain I would never recommend and beware if something goes wrong they will do nothing to fix it.
