The Mansion was nearly perfect for our stay in Bucharest. We strongly prefer boutique hotels, and this one had charm and comfort and an excellent location in the heart of Bucharest's Old Town, making it a very convenient choice as well. Overall, I would say staying here feels more like staying in the very large home of a family friend than a hotel. The only knock on this hotel, and it's a minor one, is that it is located in a pedestrian zone, making it a little tricky for taxi cabs to drop you off and pick you up.

If I’d written this review at the start of the trip it would’ve been a one star review. Yes there is loud music audible in some rooms. It’s louder during the hot weather as the retractable roof from the clubs nearby are opened. So what turned it around? The staff. They were all kind, patient, excellent. I was moved to another quieter room and the problem was resolved. I appreciate that based on its excellent location right in the middle of old town, there will be noise but sleep is important to me. They fixed it. The hotel has 19 individually themed room, each with plenty of space, great water pressure, good aircon, bath robes and so on. I had breakfast included and the buffet had everything you’d need. So… bad gone good and it’s all thanks to the people. Bravo.

Gem of a hotel situated in the heart of the old town. We were upgraded to the Nautic room, massive room, clean and tidy, it had a lovely big oval shaped bath, although it was high to step in and out of. One annoyance was that it had no fixed point for the shower head so you had to hold it all of the time. Now the biggest point of all was that ALL of the staff were happy, helpful and informative and could not do enough for you. Nothing to do with the hotel (although they advise us as well ). DO NOT USE THE YELLOW TAXIS, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE MARKED AND YOU THINK METERED, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

This hotel is original, different, full of character…..and I loved it. Everything seems unique- if you want regular, mundane, hotel chain standards, then it’s not for you. If you want style, comfort and a different experience to the norm, stay here, you won’t regret it. Highly recommended

Excellent location in old town. The onsite breakfast is very good and there are so many restaurants in walking distance! The hotel is charming and the staff was very helpful. Because old town is pedestrian only, the parking is about three blocks away, so try to unload your bags before you head to park if you bring large bags.

Fantastic hotel. we stayed for week while in Bucharest Old Town. Great Hotel with excellent location, food, and friendliness. We loved the area we were in. the room was large and comfortable for the two of us and bed was great for sleeping. Breakfast buffet was ample and it came with the option of eggs to order. The restaurant was excellent for dinner but there are also plenty of restaurants immediately around the hotel. highly recommend the hotel.

This is a great place to stay in old town. The staff was superb and so knowledgeable about everything. We arranged two tours and our airport transportation thru them and it was amazing. The communication was fantastic— they answered at all hours. The street noise was a little irritating but they have no control over that. The breakfast was great and more than I could eat in one sitting. Overall I really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Staff was just so friendly.
