I was told on the arrival day the breakfast combined with buffet and menu options. However, during the breakfast, when I asked for the menu the waitress told me I should just take food from buffet, saying they have wide options( which is not true, the buffet option is really limited ! Then I tried another male waiter with an earring asking for a menu, also got rejected. Then after I finished my breakfast, I noticed there are other white couples were ordering food from the menu. I don’t know if that is discrimination from hotel’s point of view. But I realised all Chinese visitors there were not given an option to order from menu. I asked for investigation but still haven’t got the response so far, such disappointing experience.

It is a wonderful experience staying at the W Hotel Budapest. I am very favorably impressed by the friendly and professional services by hotel staff. The location is outstanding and close to all the good sites of sightseeing. I will be back.

Half of the room was booked by Ctrip and the other half was booked by Marriott membership card. The room types booked by Ctrip are quite different. Anyway, Ctrip should keep up the good work! It’s the Spring Festival holiday and it actually has Chinese cuisine; every waiter is beautiful, young and enthusiastic.

W rests in the heart of the city. The ambience & Architecture is breathtaking. The ‘jewel’ colours of the upholstery are unusual & eye catching The staff is polite , warm & very welcoming. The beauty of the original building has been preserved.

Stayed for 4 nights. Great hospitality, courtesy at its best, from checkin to room service to breakfast lounge. Jen at breakfast restaurant was exceptionally courteous. The rooms were very comfortable. Room service always prompt. Very convenient location. Breakfast quality was superb. On the day we were leaving my wife was feeling unwell with a cold, staff at reception extended our checkout for 2 pm, offered to send tea with ginger and honey to the room- very caring team; well done.
