"This hostel wins according to its strategic location. For solo travellers and young people, this place seems to suit better especially when you only need a place to lay down and rest. Other than that, nothing special. I was waiting for more than an hour for my room to be ready after checking in. If I did not ask, I would’ve waited longer. Also, for Dorm option, I have to pay the deposit 10€ (cash or card is fine, which I paid cash), and it is returned upon the check out."

"All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel."

"Booked a room with a view, and it was so worth it! First off, the location is fantastic, right next to Fisherman's Bastion. You can see both Fisherman's Bastion and the Parliament building right outside your window. The first rays of morning sun shine directly into the room, perfect for taking photos indoors or heading out downstairs to snap some pics before the crowds arrive. Breakfast was also excellent, with options like fried rice, congee, and soup, and the staff were very attentive and proactive. The only thing to note is that you'll need to take a taxi to get there, as it's built on a hill, just like Fisherman's Bastion."

"Very nice hotel! Perfect location - metro station, market, shops are nearby, pleasant park right in front of hotel. Easy to visit lots of attractions and interesting places on foot. Great view from a balcony, a lot of space in the room. Comfortable beds, bathcoats and slippers are also available on request. Tablet for ordering room services and communication with reception is very convenient as well. Good hairdryer in the bathroom, not like usual hotel small hairdryers. Delicious breakfasts, there was something new to choose every day. Very friendly and helpful staff 🩷 The only things I would like to have in the room - more hooks for clothes and towels in the bathroom and the second feet towel for the second guest, we had only one."

"The room was nice; we booked a two-bedroom suite, and it was spacious. European beds are odd though, it's usually two 0.8m beds pushed together, leaving a gap in the middle. There are plenty of good restaurants near the hotel; we tried Vietnamese and Chinese food, both delicious. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and about a ten-minute ride to the main attractions. The room keys and locks are a bit old and broken; I'm not sure why they haven't switched to electronic locks. This area is the 7th district, and I noticed quite a few homeless people around. The surrounding neighborhood also has a run-down, Eastern European feel to it. I haven't stayed in other areas, so I can't compare. For a family trip, though, the value for money is absolutely excellent!"

"The hotel is very close to Metro Line 2, making transportation convenient. It's within walking distance to Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle, which is great for catching the sunrise and sunset. The room facilities are relatively new. However, there are few supermarkets nearby, and they close early, making dining options in the vicinity a bit inconvenient."

"The location is excellent, right next to Heroes' Square. There's a large park nearby, perfect for a morning run or walk. The room was quiet and clean, but the amenities were limited; there was no mini-fridge or kettle."

"Intercontinental hotel was amazing. Service, check in was straight off no waiting. Food in bar was lovely and served till late. Reserve a river View room amazing views of the castle the bridge. If I was being picky bed clothes a bir light we went in February and requested extra blanket. Its a bit expensive but honestly we'll worth it when you see the other hotels around you. We will be back with family."

"The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station, with a shopping mall and a large supermarket just two bus stops away. Right across the street, there's a bus station for FlixBus. On top of that, the hotel itself is well-equipped in all aspects, and the rooms are very quiet."

"The room was quite ordinary and simple, without anything particularly special or luxurious. However, it was clean and generally well maintained, which made the stay comfortable enough. The bed was fine, and the basic amenities provided were sufficient for our needs. Housekeeping did a decent job, and overall cleanliness was acceptable throughout the stay. While the room design and facilities were fairly basic, it served its purpose well, especially for resting after a long day outside. Overall, it was a reasonably comfortable stay. Nothing impressive, but nothing to complain about either. The cleanliness was the main positive point, and the room met our expectations for a standard stay."
