Triple M Hotel
"The room is clean, the service is excellent"
Corinthia Budapest
An 1896 hotel featuring an Art Deco-style Royal Spa—enjoy the pool, saunas, and thermal treatments, all just two stops away on the M1 from the Széchenyi Baths.
Sous44
"The hotel is in a great location, with a metro station nearby, which makes it easy to get around the city. It takes no more than 10–15 minutes to reach the centre of Budapest by metro. The breakfast offers a good selection of food. On the downside, the bed linen was not very clean — I found quite a few hairs on it and noticed a couple of ants in the bathroom. Overall, I am satisfied with my choice of hotel."
IntercityHotel Budapest
"It's alright. I've stayed here a few times already. It's right next to the train station, which is convenient for shopping and transportation. The breakfast is also quite good and varied. Once you book a non-refundable rate, it's pretty much non-refundable, even if you try to cancel two months in advance, haha."
Ibis Budapest Castle Hill
"Great location, but no electric kettle, small face towe, showel capl and slippers. Remember to bring your own."
Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest
"Beautiful monastery/hotel. Room is clean and has everything we need, including air-con, which is a big plus during heat wave. Free parking is available."
JO&JOE Budapest
"Very recommend~Very close at the station, nearby have supermarket and feel safe . There are some restaurants and bars. Chill"
Apple guesthouse
"The service was great, and it was only a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport."
Novotel Budapest Danube
"Stayed for my mother's birthday on March 2nd 2026 , and was given a room without any view - despite it being on the 7th floor (top most) Went down to reception , and politely requested for a change of room to suit the occasion. The staff at the reception responded coldly " That would be an additional 50 Euros. " By the way , upon payment , no receipt was given. There was no invoice provided when I checked out either. I paid for the toom upgrade but the service attitude was quite lacking. Next - checking into room 732 (the corner of the seventh floor) gave us a good view of the parliament building , but the bathroom fixtures and stain on the floor carpet was disappointing. The extra fold out sofabed should just be replaced with a regular bed. The windows should be cleaned regularly. There were no USB sockets nor power sockets near the bedframe in order to facilitate charging of electronics. This seems to be a serious oversight for a 4 star hotel. We've stayed in other Novotel locations and they have all been excellent. So caveat emptor , review readers - you've been warned !"

"The view was absolutely unbeatable! I emailed the hotel in advance to reserve Room 418 and paid an extra €40 — totally worth it!! The room, atmosphere, and overall experience were amazing. Highly recommended!"
Áurea Ana Palace by Eurostars Hotel Company
"The extra bottle of water costs 3 euros. Fortunately, we asked first and canceled immediately. This is the first time we encountered a five-star hotel and we were charged for extra water. Others overall are pretty good."

Lion's Garden Hotel
"Happy to stay here, a real recommandation for visiting Budapest"
Danubius Hotel Arena
"I am not demanding and therefore the hotel suited me. The room was always clean, the beds too. Breakfast perfect. The position is perfect for exploring Budapest."
Verdi Budapest Aquincum
"We had an absolutely incredible experience during our stay. Best was the swimming pool area. The surroundings were stunning, with breathtaking scenery that left us in awe. Every aspect of the resort was meticulously organized, creating a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. We especially enjoyed the expansive pool area, which was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly; it truly made our visit unforgettable!"
Continental Hotel Budapest
"Quick check in and check out. Daniel checked us both in and out. Room was clean, but a little small, housekeeping was very good. Breakfast was good, food quality good, egg station good Hotel location behind the main road, so was quiet and peaceful. Hotel facade and historical interior was beautiful, it was formerly a bath house in the 1800s."
Expo Tower by Mellow Mood Hotels
"I stayed at Expo Congress Hotel, and it was a terrible experience. First, they completely failed to accommodate my dietary needs. I requested soy milk, but they didn’t have it, even though I have a milk sensitivity. Their claim of offering plant-based milk was false. The room was infested with bugs and mosquitoes, making it uncomfortable and unhealthy. If you’re into that sort of thing, this is the place for you! The cleaning was very poor, and I have photos to prove the unsanitary conditions. Also, the sauna didn’t work most of the time, and I had to ask staff to operate it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. There are far better options where you won’t have to deal with bugs and etc."
Onyx Luxury Budapest
"The breakfast is plentiful, and it's a 10-minute walk from Keleti train station and a 15-minute taxi ride from Fisherman's Bastion."
Leonardo Hotel Budapest
"The Leonardo Hotel Budapest was fine for a short stay. The location is decent, with some public transport options nearby. The room was clean but a bit small and basic. Staff were generally polite, though service could be a little quicker. Overall, nothing special but it does the job if you just need a place to sleep."
Wonder - The Luxury Boutique Hotel
"Pros: This is a new hotel with a clean, stylish, and modern feel throughout. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I especially loved the restaurant vibe — the breakfast is excellent and I highly recommend it. There’s a nice spa downstairs that guests get to use at discount, which is a great perk. The location is also convenient with plenty of restaurants nearby. Cons: The only downside is a bar nearby that plays music at night until around 9–10pm. It might disturb light sleepers."
