Spa hotels in Budapest

Boho is a boutique hotel with tasteful design and high service standards. The rooms are stylishly furnished, clean and spacious, and the king bed and large bathtub are comfortable. The location is excellent, the room is soundproofed and it is quiet even in the downtown area. Breakfast is good and the buffet selection is very rich. Our room includes free experience of hotel spa, fitness. The hotel is very close to the Freedom Bridge. It takes about 7 minutes to walk. Nearby is the university, with the Hungarian National Museum. There is also a delicious pancake fruit shop Hi Bing.

The front desk staff were quite incompetent. Check-in took forever, and then my friend's room key didn't work. Another friend found a welcome card for someone else on their table upon entering their room. My room was a corner room, which they didn't even ask about, but they were very pushy about getting us to upgrade. We upgraded, and the service was still terrible. Then, at check-out, we thought it would be quick, but a young woman struggled for ages before calling over her colleague. We thought there might be an extra charge, but then she somehow pulled out someone else's room cards, claiming they didn't match ours. Couldn't she just ask us what our room number was? We gave her two room cards, and she somehow ended up with three! We were in a hurry to catch a flight and told them so, but she still fumbled around for ages. Plus, the kettle in the room was broken, and when we asked for a replacement, that one was also broken... It was an ordeal all afternoon; we couldn't even take an afternoon nap. I can only say the hotel is all show and no substance; the interior is rotten. Also, it seems like they sprayed a lot of disinfectant in the room when cleaning, and the windows don't open for ventilation...

I enjoyed my stay since the hotel has renovated rooms that are quite spacious. However I can't say the same about the spa and thermal bath. They were outdated and not really comfortable

The subway and bus stops are close by, and there are many good restaurants too, so it was great to enjoy various things without having to travel far! It's also not too far from the 100E bus stop.

We arrived very late at the hotel but the arrival experience is superb. We book Matlid King room at room 105 , the room is very spacious and very advance IOT use in the room eg: electric curtain, lighting & air conditioners. The bathroom is very beautifully decorated with blue & gold tiles with big bathtub enough for 2 persons to soak together. Bathroom Experience: 10/10 They provide very comfortable bed, mattress, pillows and blanket. We had excellent 3 nights rest The hotel serve most delicious breakfast with lots of various options to choose from, I can say one of the best Breakfast for our this Europe trip. The staffs are very attentive and well-trained. breakfast Experience: 10/10 A must try dinner at Wolfgang Puck if you stay here, the chefs are super talented to create delicious art dinner. I enjoyed their Door to door cocktail as well.

First off, the housekeeping staff told me directly that over half the rooms have twin beds, so they could only give us twin beds. Then they called someone to combine them, and all the sheets and pillowcases were just thrown on the floor. Sure enough, the next day I had bug bites everywhere my skin touched the bed. When I complained downstairs, they said the only way to switch rooms was to upgrade, which would cost an extra 100 euros per day. The bread section at breakfast was swarming with flies. After eating, I definitely had diarrhea. My girlfriend got locked in the bathroom because the shower door got stuck. The repair person just came and removed the plastic strip from the bottom, and then the next day, water leaked everywhere when we showered. Housekeeping only comes to make the beds. They don't refill shower gel when it runs out, and they don't provide new slippers if yours get wet at the pool. If you call downstairs for slippers, you have to wait 20 minutes. On a positive note, the lady at the -1 floor swimming pool was very nice.

Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

The room was basic and clean with good air conditioning, although it was quite noisy. Also, light from the hallway leaked in under the door, which meant waking up at night when people in the neighboring room returned from their night out. The breakfast was basic and okay, nothing special, especially for someone on a meatless diet. If something ran out, it wasn't necessarily restocked. The area was okay, with quite a few abandoned or abandoned-looking buildings around. It was a short walk to the restaurants in the Jewish Quarter and to the city center. There was no need to buy a public transport day pass or tickets at all. The only time we paid for a ride (taxi) was when we visited the Pál-völgyi cave, which was well worth visiting!

The hotel is very close to the train station and the city park, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions by bus or subway. The area around is quiet, and there's a supermarket nearby – just keep an eye on their closing times. I was very satisfied with everything, from the good variety at breakfast to the well-equipped room that met all my needs. Absolutely delighted!

The Leonardo Hotel Budapest was fine for a short stay. The location is decent, with some public transport options nearby. The room was clean but a bit small and basic. Staff were generally polite, though service could be a little quicker. Overall, nothing special but it does the job if you just need a place to sleep.
