Basically, a scam. Booked via agoda.com, came to the hotel, was told through a locked door that they have no room. Had to ask a taxi driver to take us to any place and thankfully got a room at a hostel. Considering it was late and we had two kids with us, this was unbelievably bad.

Arrived there at 12.00 and tried to contact the owner from 11.00 to 18.00. Noboday answered the phone, after a few ours we got blocked. Wo never got the key fir the appartment so we had to check another Hotel. Booked via agoda.com, did not get our money back as the owner of the appartment tells agoda that the appartment is available but did not show up for 7 hours.

It is a scam. Rakoczi Boulevard Apartments provide a number that you have to call to fix the check-in hour. It took three days and around 20 calls to have someone who finally agree to meet at a said hour. Once in front of the apartment. they told me that they didn't have room any more and that they would reimburse me, leaving me without a place to stay. They then said to Opodo (which is the platform where I did the reservation) that I wasn't here to check out - Opodo apparently always follow what the host says without putting it in question - which allows the scam to happen. They basically stole 500 euros from me. There are many others review like this - I should have read them before.

DO NOT STAY HERE! THE PLACE SMELT OF SEWAGE. The beddings are awful. The pillows are crumbling and yellow. No kettle, no toaster no proper towels. Not worth it! We had to leave the property because of the awful smell and after my son vomited!
