Great location, nice friendly staff.
Prion was dated, very noisy at night due to bars and people shouting on 2 of the 4 night stay. Due to this would not stay there again.

Upon arrival, we were given no instructions on how to get into the building to pick up the keys to our apartment. When I called the number to the desk, I was told to use the code and then was hung up on before I could respond. I ended up having to follow someone in. Aside from this poor check-in experience, the apartment was satisfactory. Everything was clean, with the exception of one of our shower towels, and there was ample space for two people. This property is advertised as air conditioned, and it was not. We were provided a floor fan, yet the apartment was always very hot. On a positive note, the balcony was great and the location was perfect.

The 100E Airport Express bus takes you to the center of Budapest - and the top of Kirali Utca where King Apartments are! Location then is superb as is the accommodation. You'd never know you were in the center. The apartment block folds around a garden courtyard with water feature. Even sitting on the spacious balcony, noise is limited. This was my second visit here and my apartment even more spacious the second time. Very clean, very comfortable, friendly helpful staff at reception. Excellent value. We loved this place! Very spacious, even a nice terrace area for our room. A bit tricky to get there, but if you have phone service, they answer your call right away within the front desk open hours. Very friendly, welcoming, and attentive staff! We loved Budapest, and this place and the staff was part of it. Would stay again here!

Bij aankomst werden we verwelkomd door de conciërge. Volgens de dame die een mail stuurde was dit omdat we laat arriveerde. 17 uur lijkt mij niet laat maar oke. De beste man sprak geen woord Engels of Duits. Na het invullen van heel veel papieren kregen we de dame aan de telefoon van de conciërge. Redelijk geïrriteerd liet ze weten dat pinnen niet mogelijk was. Ze had dit volgens haar in de mail verteld. Maar niets was terug te vinden. Al vreemd dat je bij inchecken moet betalen als je de creditcard gegevens hebt afgegeven. Misschien wel begrijpelijk. Denk dat we anders nooit hadden betaald. De kamer had een vreemde lucht, de airco stond bij 35 graden niet aan (en doe je dat wel , krijg je een behoorlijke na rekening) De douche zat vol schimmel, de bedden zijn slecht. In de bank zaten vieze vlekken en misschien het ergste. De gordijnen zijn te klein voor de ramen, fijn in de zomer om 6 uur vol de zon in je gezicht. De ligging is het enige dat erg goed is. Na onderzoek en wat mensen te hebben leren kennen blijk je voor slechts 10.00 per nacht een vier sterren hotel vol luxe te boeken. Daarnaast moesten wij wegens prive omstandigheden (overlijden van om) een dag eerder naar huis en ook daar werd financieel niets mee gedaan. Al zou het voor niets zijn... NOOIT MEER. Boek een mooi hotel last minute is mijn tip.
