L'hotel ha un fascino eccezionale e gode di ottima posizione, non lontano dal centro e con bella vista. Però la pulizia lascia fortemente a desiderare e l'intera struttura sarebbe da sistemare (per esempio il pavimento dei balconi con la base staccata). Se vi danno una camera senza balcone, chiedete alla reception e se ne hanno una libera con balcone ve la sostituiscono. La colazione è ricca e abbondante.

The hotel is closed for renovations. The spa is a major disappointment. Several of the amenities are broken. This is nothing more than a public pool. The “thermal baths” are luke warm. They say 99 degrees but that is not the case. This is a tourist trap. I would avoid it at all costs.

Zuerst muss ich sagen, dass das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht ist. Auch das man mitten in Budapest 1m neben dem Hotel sicher sein Auto parken kann fand ich extrem super! Das Hotelgebäude schaut sehr imposant aus und auch die schöne Lobby hat einen gewissen nostalgischen Charme! Leider sind zwar auch sehr alt aber ohne jeden Charm… sie sind einfach nur alt! Durch die Zimmertüren hört man jeden Lärm vom Flur und bereits früh am morgen wird man durch lärmende Gäste und knallende Türen aufgeweckt! Das allerschlimmste aber war die Matratze! Heutzutage noch Matratzen mit Metallfedern??? Diese war enorm ungemütlich und ein erholsamer Schlaf ist absolut unmöglich! Ich werde bei meiner nächsten Budapest-Reise bestimmt in einem anderen Hotel übernachten!

nelle info covid dell'hotel leggevo che era possibile non fare entrare il personale addetto al rifacimento camere, a loro e nostra tutela. al contrario al check in ci dicono che a comune tutela il ppersonale non sarebbe mai entrato se nnon su richiesta , abbiamo fatto la richiesta col risultato scritto nel titolo , ci torneremo ad albergo erestaurato e covid measures rispettate e non usate ad altri scopi

The hotel looks great, even amazing from the outside. It has a great location, however that's where the plaudits stop. No hot water in the room, water coming up from the drain in the bathroom. Unwelcome insects and bugs in the room. There are rooms in the hotel named after Richard Nixon and Andrew Lloyd Weber, I am sure they haven't stayed here. This hotel needs a wide berth. I have since been told the hotel is closing from December 1st for a refurbishment, this is about 30 years over due.

Chambres dont l’état est d’un autre temps , cela frôle la saleté ! Les moquettes et abats jours sont tachés, aucune climatisation digne de ce nom ! Cet hôtel qui veut se la jouer palace n’offre aucun service digne de ce nom! La moindre question à l’accueil ennuie le personnel … commander un taxi ou demander un fer à repasser pose problème .. je ne recommande pas

Personnel à l'accueil à peine aimable, ménage des chambres pas fait, bouchon vidange de la baignoire perdu, tiroir cassé, lavabo qui fuit, propreté générale des chambres douteuse, réduction aux bains infime.... On est bien loin du même hôtel il y a 4 ans. Dommage car les parties communes restent pleines de charmes ainsi que les thermes !

As a lady traveling solo, I have not felt welcome here. The only person who gave me the time of day and was very friendly, was the lovely lady who has the gift shop. Beautiful lady. I found all of the hotel staff ignorant and unhelpful. I suggest you teach your staff proper customer care. It would be nice for them to engage a little with guests. To add, bathroom sink is blocked and the TV doesn't work. Some TLC needed here for sure! Look forward to being home!
