Cortile Hotel - Adults Only

There are some great things about this hotel and there are some bad things about this hotel. The staff is EXCELLENT and they have a GREAT pool area. The breakfast is great and the location is perfect!!! The bad thing was that the hotel did not have an AC . I admit it was winter but no AC so I was a bit hot. You have to open the window to make the room cool down. I got a deluxe room but the view not nice. I got to stare at some steel chimneys with a slight view in the far distance of the main cathedral. The carpets were also kind of dirty and I think the hotel should have someone look at the room before giving them to clients. They need to do a better job of cleaning the floors and the carpets. I would stay there again but drop them a note and tell them to look at the room before giving it to me. Another to be aware of this is an ADULTS ONLY hotel. I like kids but I like having adults only too. The hotel has a good vibe and aI had a good time there. The hotel just needs to work on refining their cleaning practices!!! Great pool!! I was pleased except to for the carpet dust. I will say that when I complained about it was fixed the next day!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of March for my 30th birthday. From the moment we arrived we felt at home at the Cortile. The staff were so friendly, helpful and willing to offer recommendations for our first time in Budapest! Our room on the 5th floor was spotless and cleaned daily - really lovely views over the courtyard and Budapest cityscape. Breakfast was a real treat - dishes changed daily and there was a really excellent selection - plus Hungarian sparkling wine made it a real treat! We really loved the pool - absolutely gorgeous views and stunning to watch the sunset with a cocktail. We couldn’t fault a single thing and can’t wait to come and stay again.

Stayed here for a 5 night stay in November 2023 and this hotel did not disappoint. Check-in was a breeze, the staff were friendly and although we were a bit early for our check-in time, the room was already available which was a major plus point as we had been travelling since early morning. Our room was a corner room so it was enormous, lots of floor space so it didn't feel cramped for the two of us, unlike some other hotels we have stayed in. The window overlooked the street but being on the 4th floor and having very good sound insulation, we were never disturbed by the sounds of the city. Only a short walk to the nearest metro station or tram/bus stops meant that the entire city was at our fingertips, and it was only a short walk to Andrassy Street and the Opera house so a lot of the sights were very local indeed. The room was kept spotlessly clean every day and it felt like the staff really couldn't do enough for you. There was an extensive range of hot and cold items for breakfast each morning. All were tasty and plentiful. No one could have gone hungry with the kind of selection available each morning. The staff that managed the breakfast were efficient and very welcoming. They also kept all the food stocked up should you have wanted more. This is a hotel I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to people wishing to visit Budapest and I'm sure if I was to return to the city sometime soon then I'd be booking myself in there.

Wow!!!! This hotel is fabulous. From the moment we walked in we loved it. Viktor welcomed us the first night, we were offered a drink on arrival which was nice and he checked us in. He was so friendly and helpful and gave us lots of valuable information. The hotel is immaculate, the room was lovely with a walk in shower and mini bar with very reasonably priced drinks and snacks. One of the best features of this hotel was the roof top bar and pool. We were only able to use this once during our stay but thoroughly enjoyed it after a hot day walking round the city. Breakfast was really nice with a great selection, something for everyone, there were some nice cakes on offer as well as Prosecco if you’re into that thing first thing in the morning! This hotel was really well situated and within walking distance of nice restaurants, attractions, buses and train stations. I still cannot believe how reasonably priced this hotel was and offered such good value for money. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, you will not be disappointed.

This hotel is absolutely perfect! I could not fault a single thing. The reception staff are amazing, so helpful… nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is so varied… yes we did sample the sparkling wine once! My partner also dabbled with a spring roll for breakfast!!! The rooms are stunning… we had a junior suite and the extra space was great. We had a drink on the rooftop bar on day 1, and managed a swim on day two… I’m just sad we didn’t have more days! It was perfect from start to finish! I love Budapest!

A great hotel that is centrally located, delicious and extensive breakfast. The rooms were beautiful and neat. Super swimming pool on the roof, wonderfully relaxing after a day of visiting. Very friendly and helpful staff!
