NH Budapest City

I stayed in this hotel on a recent trip to Budapest and really loved it. Not only is the location excellent--in a prime area near a lot of attractions--but I found the staff to be absolutely exemplary when it came to customer service. They were very warm, gracious and always helpful when I came to them with my infinite questions. To give you an example of how hospitable they were, my first night I found the room to be cold. Okay, it had no heat. Even though it was late at night, they immediately offered to give me another room. The manager helped me with my belongings as I trudged in my pajamas to the other room, which was indeed warm. The next day I come back to my hotel room after a day of sightseeing and I get a note of apology from the staff along with a delicious dessert as a token of their sincere regrets! Wow. I didn't expect that. And that was just typical of how nice they were. The hotel, too, is lovely, spacious and very state of the art. I really loved my stay in Budapest and if I come back, I will definitely stay here again!

We had a very agreeable stay in the NH hotel. The staff were friendly, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and varied. Would definitely recommend if in Budapest, not to mention the location is very central and very close to the Danube.

Good location inner city. Staff polite intelligent. Breakfast is tasty. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Window quality was poor it was difficult to open and close. Rather high night noise from the street

As always the hotel and service is far above expectations. In the middle of Budapest, walking distance from major attractions. Really N’joy it once again! Why? Quiet location, but still in the heart of the city. Comfortable rooms and great athmosphere!

The location of the hotel is fantastic: you are immediately on the Danube, on one of the main streets where trams and buses run. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes. The Nyugati train station is a 5-minute walk away, and the Octogon metro station is also a quick walk away. The reception at the hotel is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is an international buffet and quite good. The rooms are large, with tea/coffee, a free bottle of water, international TV programs and safe for your valuables. The beds are great. Bathroom is also very OK. A special thank you to the extremely nice staff in the breakfast room. Thanks also to the young lady who ordered me the omelet. She was always so kind to me. The only negative point: there is noise in the bar in the lobby in the evenings, which echoes into the rooms due to the hall's character.

Phenomenal staff at this hotel, especially Tirga and Nandor who both enhanced our 3 day stay here. Sensational breakfast selection and great coffee. One late evening the reception staff knew we didn’t have our evening meal, so they surprised us with a pizza which they delivered personally to our room. Highly recommended
