Very nice, clean ,affordable ,friendly apartment walking distance to some attractions .

I wouldn't recommend this property if you have a car.

I read the reviews for this apartment as we were travelling Budapest to watch the World Athletics Championships. I really wish we had chosen another place to stay. PLEASE NOTE first and foremost that air conditioning is NOT included as the listing suggests and 35 degree heat meant we had to pay the 60 Euro demanded plus the 50 Euro deposit. This is when you actually manage to get in the front door which seemed to be permanently locked! I spent most of the week letting weary travellers into the main door as it was awful watching them stand in the heat wondering how on eartth to get into the hotel! The chaos continued when we tried to use the oven - there was not a single oven tray/pan - anything to allow us to actually USE the oven! The microwave button was broken meaning we couldn't start and stop the microwave. We got through the weekend then Monday morning at 7.30am the hammering started directly underneath! This continued every day and looking out of the window, I could see that they were renovating the apartments below - breeze block walls, new flooring - the lot! We left the apartment every day to escape the noise so please don't visit for a romantic trip away! Location was OK - close to shops etc but the apartment let down our trip hugely. The woman on reception was nasty and rude and we did not feel welcome so we did not dare to approach them for ANYTHING throughout our stay. I would most definitely NOT stay here again. Hotel.com have been very helpful.

It was a decent clean property, staff were helpful. I felt the added daily 10 euros charge for air conditioning was ridiculous, as i felt it should have been included.

Absolute thieves, Asked for a 50 euro deposit on arrival which is unstandable, however once checked out, the rooms were checked by the staff and the bloke behind reception desk told us everything was fine with the room and the deposit was released back to us. 250 euro as their was 5 of us in this apartment. The bloke behind reception is a total liar. Upon returning home, we contacted the hotel asking where the deposit was. We was then told we wouldn’t be getting it back as somebody had smoked in the room. Funny as nobody in our group smoked. Total liars and thieves. The room was left spotless.

Second visit here! So firstly you need to know that the Corvin Plaza apartments are spread across two buildings with a road in-between. We've stayed in both and accommodation is similar. Firstly a great location in the "Corvin" area of Budapest. Bus and tram stops are just around the corner, bars and restaurants in a town square setting are a 10 minute walk away. Local Spar shop just across the road. Accommodation has always been well maintained, clean and comfortable. Reception is manned 24/7 should you need anything. Reception is small so if there are more than one party checking in the wait can be long. Whilst there are other staff around, they didn't want to help get the queue down! One thing to be aware of is if you're going in the summer, air conditioning is only found in the lounge, not the main bedroom rooms and it is chargeable. Luggage can be storage here if you arrive early and want to explore or leave later after check out.

They asked for 50 euro deposit once we arrived to check in ( not mentioned in ***********) toaster was dirty as the pan was not usable at all. Chairs were torn and dirty also. Once we entered the apartment it was super hot so they had an ac but no remote for which they asked 10 euro per day ( also mentioned in *********** that ac is included ) !! Some guy or girl defecated in front of the apartment and it was not cleaned for 2 days ! ( all of our stay) they neighbourhood was super noisy as there were a lot of homeless people around. Don’t go outside alone in the evening because its like a zombie apocalypse there ! Its smells really bad everywhere around! Also there were ants in the apartment and we lived in the 5th floor! Avoid this place ! Not worth of your money!
